That last line really gives the whole piece its sad and deflated feel.
Remember this one
I remember this from the sensual metaphors forum. I can imagine kissing someone who is trying to leave in a way that might make them want to stay, or at least delay their departure. The "tears" though make me think this is not likely to happen this time.
