ah so... grasshopper
to seemingly find comfort on a ball spinning 66, 000 mph through space and populated and live, like fleas on a dog, one day the planet will die, but hopefully not in my life-time. Your poem was inspirational (~_~)
reminds me of
Running from Safety from Richard Bach...sitting under the oak tree...thanks for sharing...blue
And now?
And do you no longer? Reading this poem is timely for me. Thus the curiousity about now.
~~
As we grow we move from the famous security blanket to the adult version — comfort zones — that place we withdraw to after life's living becomes too much.
Lovely
Really enjoyed the quiet contemplative mood of this poem. The yearning is relatable, and the swelling of the lines is an added touch.
Nice!
I love the shape of it -- and the poignancy.
