to strange it belongs in the fantacy area if he hated her as much as you say it wouldn't matter to him that she was squeaky and he wouldn't make a conection when she described herself he would have kept on treating her the same way he always did he would have finished the story and forgot about it you are trying to rewrite human nature and it screws up the story this would have been a good dream or fantacy but is totaly unrealistic next time use the proper catagory please

i loved the build up in this story but it needs an ending!!
