Very nicely done and

an interesting read. A sense of realism - reading the story was like watching the scenes unfold in an absorbing movie.

First class writing.

Well Done

A well written, very plausible story. It certainly held one's attention. A tip of the hat to thecelt.

This a warm loving wife? in her heart she cheated

This is a romantic loving warm story?

Lets see .... wife is self absorbed cunt that PLANS to cheat while her husband is Overseas and woking furiously on the dream achivement that they have both wanted and PLANNED for. She CHOOSE to fuck the other guy. She is wet and aroused and KNOWS what she is doing is wrong (says so several times) and still can ONLY think of fucking the other guys.

She has an "awakening" ONLY when her lonely husband dutifully calls home missing her terribly.... and she has her bra off and some other guys Cock her her hand or mouth

Now if that isnt TRUE love...I dont know what is!!!!

The fact that the husband doesnt know... does not make it alright. The fact that she did NOT actually have some other cock in her snatch does NOT change the deceit lies disrespect and betrayal. And she KNEW that her husband was 100% faithful...

a few weeks ago SOMEONE (who?) wrote a similar story.

In THAT story the husband & wife best friends had broken up... and it turned out that wife in this former couple was the one cheating.

This other woman told the wife that she "heard" or "knew " her husband was cheating and she should get some revenge. The wife went through with all of the plans... and only when her husband told her he was not cheating and he would accept any... did she back off.

the husband followed the wife to a Diner saw her leave with some guy.

Later the wife CLAIMED that she broken it off with the other Guy when they met at the Diner so that she DID not cheat so they COULD get past this

The author is THAT story had it right. The fact that she did NOT actually have some other cock in her snatch does NOT change the deceit lies disrespect and betrayal. TheCelt below the is one BIG time

same thing her. a truly stupid ending

Saved by the bell

The fortuitous ringing of the telephone saved the marriage in more ways than one. It is unlikeky the husband would have discovered her infidelity or that she would have confessed and told him what she had done. But because the telephone rang when it did she saved her self respect, her integrity, and her commitment to the vows she had taken so many years ago. Thanks to thecelt for a really good story.

sorry, this doesn't cut it

she coldly planned to betrayal despite knowing it was wrong, with them seperated because he was meeting their needs and goals.

she was naked giving naked Dan a hand job when she came to her senses. in my book she did violate her integrity, she did violate her vows, she did betray her husband. she just didn't have intercourse. and she got away with it.

an unjust ending.

Almost my ass

Just by Marie going as far as she did was a serious betrayal to her husband, maybe not in a "thecelt" stories but in reallity with real people envolved.
I noticed even in the story, there was no way Marie was going to yell Jeff about Dan. Jus another shade of adultrey and betrayal by a barain dead celt woman

Hi Celt,

I'm sorry I didn't go for the story

I'm pretty sure you were hoping to make the story come accross as a wife that almost crossed the line and betrayed her husband and their marriage, but this isn't an "almost" betrayal, it's an "incomplete" one. It's really still a betrayal plain and simple. I'm sorry, but I guess I just can't go for stories where the wife get's away with doing this and later somehow feels it made the marriage stronger with her just learning to live with what she's done. But too me talking to her husband while holding the organ of another man, after she and the other man have been making out, undressing, and playing with each others bodies to get each other worked up for sex, but stops only after her husband breaks down on the phone telling her how lonely he is, does she seem to feel it as an almost betrayal, doesn't make sense to me.

I guess I'm kinda of old fashioned at 37, and somehow I think if I caught my wife in the same postion as this wife I really dont' think I'd be going "Whew, I'm glad you stopped yourself. That almost would have caused our marriage some real problems there".

So I guess, while I appreciated your efforts to write a story and present it to the readers, I just hate to see a story where someone again gets away with cheating and the husband (or wife) is none the wiser and everyone in the story feels that safe cheating always makes for stronger marriages

Don't praise the slut. She cheated. She will cheat again. The husband deserves better. She is a tramp.

Good Writing...................

BUT, I kind of agree with Risq and Harry and some of the others about the wife's actions. Just can't give it less than a 50 because the stories are always well written.

This woman had bought the ticket, checked

her baggage, went aboard and was about to take off on the plane of indidelity. The only reason she didn't was because of a complete coincidence. If her husband had not called she would have been flying the wild blue yonder. Not cheat? I don't think so. She may not have physically fully-consummated the act, but she had already betrayed her husband.

To cheat or not to cheat

Well written, but I don't think I agree that she cheated in these circumstances. After all, if the intent was cheating, we'd all be guilty, because there isn't anyone who hasn't THOUGHT about what it would be like with another person who takes our fancy. So - either we're all guilty, or cheating is defined as the actual ACT itself. Now, in terms of the ACT, many of us may have kissed another partner [under the mistletoe, perhaps, but I guess it counts if we enjoy it]. So clearly, there's a line somewhere that has to be crossed. For me, a bit of fumbling around doesn't count as crossing the line - OK, it's a bit further than kissing, and, if it was an end in itself, I'd agree you might consider it a betrayal. But this was only in preparation for the real betrayal, which wasn't carried out. I think you've got to say 'OK what she did wasn't right', but allow some credit for what she didn't do. On balance, I think I'd rather a wife who was tempted and saw the light than a wife who was tempted and gave herself up to it completely.

Sorry, but she blew it!

She was an inch away from really blowing it(Dan's cock), and but for the phone call would have. I'm glad she finally came to her senses, but it was already too late for her self-respect. She callously planned this tryst before her husband left, and her stating that tonight would end the "itch" that she felt for Dan left no doubt what she planned to do. That she didn't do it was an accident of circumstance, not an awareness of her "mistake". I was able to give this a 75 because I think thecelt's writing is above average, and he did show that she left her position to accompany Jeff on future trips, so I'll give her the benefit of a doubt as far as possibly cheating again. Note, I said again. Have no doubt, she did cheat and only her actions after her husband called offer her a small dose of redemption.

To close for comfort

I told you what would happen, I still like the story. She screwed up and was saved by the bell. I am uncomfortable with what she did. Unlike Consequences - Delia this really was a one time thing that didn't get completed, give her the benefit of the doubt!

I thought it was good

Close doesnt count imo. Doesnt matter why she came to her senses, just that she did. Its not like she was stopped by someone catching her (i.e. being seen by friends who she thought would tell the husband). If she tries to go through with something but the husband knows and stops her, that does count. She could have kept right on and screwed the guy with her husband none the wiser in this case though. She didnt and thats what makes the difference.

I also liked how you showed the guy for what he was once she woke up. That probably made her feel even worse about what she was going to do - knowing she was taken in by a sleaze.

Anyway, I thought it was a good story. It could have used a bit more drama/tension/emotion but it wasnt bad and the actual plot was good imo (i.e. wife didnt go too far before realizing what she really valued and how little she would have got in the trade). Thanks for writing.

Is it cheating?

There seems to be many authors who write cheating based upon actual penetration as if oral sex, same sex action or mutual masturbation does not count. Cheating is based upon what you are getting away with or it can be called living a lie. The student who cheats on an exam so he or she can get grades not earned. The taxpayer who cheats on taxes is someone who is not paying their fair share according to the rules. A wife or husband who pretends to be faithful after breaking their vows to "forsake all others."______________
Although Dan gave Marie an orgasm one could argue that she had not been sexually imtimate with Dan yet. But there is no question that she was a lying cheating slut up until Jeff called her at the house. One aspect of the story I did not like was the whining and weak kneed nature of Jeff. As a rule I dislike it when otherwise succesdful men or women act like wimps in a story. So his pain (and it does not sounds like this was the first time he called to whine about being lonely) caused her to go from eager slut to chaste wife? It just did not come off credible that she had the hots for Dan for weeks or months, she get excited to jump his bones and bam she quits based on a call from from hubby. Obviously, she never told Jeff about her straying. Now she is committed to her marriage?____________________

my two cents

First of all, thecelt cannot write a bad story. He's one of those writers who could make the phone book an interesting read. He's one of the 10-12 writers whose work I'll always read as soon as I see their name on the byline. As usual, the copy is clean, the writing is crisp and the pace is good. But I'm like some others; the plot in this story doesn't quite work. To begin with, the resolution is telegraphed in the introduction. You know when the rhetorical question is raised at the end of the intro as to whether she will or whether she won't, you know she won't. Or did she? The plot device of Marie being under some sort of sexual spell is kind of trite and doesn't work. And the truth is she was ready to cheat and only dumb luck intervened in the form of her husband's suspiciously-timed phone call. That's just too formulaic a plot construction. Then, voila!, she comes to her senses, brushes Dave off, even slaps him when he pushes it. Ummmm, no. In reality, she'd have been raped right then and there, because if Dave is as arrogant and angry as he's portrayed here, he's not just going to sulk off into the night. He's going to get what he came for, and he's going to get away with it, because Marie is not going to be in any position to press charges. No, she cheated the moment she let him in her house for the express purpose of fucking him. Everything up to then could be excused, but after that, she might as well have gone through with it. Now, does that mean she's a slut who will stray again. Probably not. She did come to her sense and she did not, in the end, have sex with Dave. She learned something about herself that she may not have known before, that she did have the capacity to cheat on her husband, and she understood what it could have cost her. And she did quit her job, although I have to wonder whether Dave spread some whispered gossip about Marie. I'd be surprised if he didn't. At any rate, I've always been of the belief that in every marriage, each spouse should get one - and only one - second chance. Humans are fallible and they make mistakes when they lose their way, as thecelt so aptly puts it in his intro. I think Marie understands that whether or not Jeff knows about it, she knows she's on her one second chance. She gets no more mulligans.

Almost cheated?

She went out with a man with the intention to have sex with him despite her worries of betraying her husband. She commiting public displays of affection with a man not her husband in a very public place. She took the man home to have sex with him. She fondled and had foreplay with a man while undressed, betraying and disrespecting her marriage. The only thing that stopped her sexual acts were that her husband was lonely and decided to call her on her cell phone to talk to her. It was his loneliness that prevented the actual penetration by another man, not her morals or ethics. She is a slut, nothing more, nothing less. Betraying in thought and deed her husband when he is finally securing their future in a way she had agreed to. Had the phone call not happened she was already positioned to fully carry out the sexual acts and had already decided to do so. In all likelyhood ruining her marriage by at the very least removing from her and her husband the one thing a true married couple must have a sense of total trust with each other. Can we say she is a wife who resisted temptation, no we cant. Can we say she is clean in mind and deed, she fondled, she was nude, she intented to. Can we say she was forced to act this way, no it was a long term affair that could have been stopped at any time by realizing she was a married woman who had a husband who loved her with his life, even if she did not love him enough not to commit adultry. Since it was her state of mind that got her into this scenario we can safely say that given the same opportunities or better ones, she will at some time in the future cheat on her husband, again. Myself I would divorce my wife if she was in a room with a man, nude, fondling his penis and preparing for sex. It isnt why that is important, it isnt commission of the act that is important, it is her intent that is important, and in that this woman is a lying cheating betraying disrespect adulterous slut. One strike you are out. Life is to short to keep track of an unfaithful woman 24 hours a day seven days a week for the rest of your life.

Not Almost - More than enough.

A well-written tale but curiously unsatisfying. Yeah, thanks to a fortuitous phone call, she does step back from the brink. However,I feel that what she did was more than enough to qualify as cheating. Does the lack of penetration somehow make her behavior acceptable? She's naked and aroused by foreplay with a similarly naked man she brought into the marital residence with the specific intent of cheating on her husband when she's brought to her senses by hubby's phone call. Any husband I know would be more than a little upset with a spouse that acted that way.

Either One of Two Lessons Learned

That cheating is bad, BUT if the other spouse (you think) does not know AND IF you are really really really horny, and are NOT going to sit around but are determined to have "a little fun," BE DECISIVE and "go for it," especially if your spouse is out of town on business.

Or

DISCONNECT all phones in the home --- INCLUDING YOUR CELL PHONE! --- LEST your out of town spouse call in INOPPORTUNE time of the day or night, DISRUPTING YOU, making your change your mind!,,,,WHEN you are about to carry out some "forbidden" and therefore fantastically erotic little rendezvous!

If a grown up person reads this story and does not agree with either one of these two ideas ---- they be' crazy like a drunken bat! ;o)

Almost a Great Story!

First, I agree with Jack Straw and everybody else that say the Celt is a good writer, but when you are that good you cannot get away by merely good writing junk. Whether you like it or not, we expect more from better writer. Otherwise, you are not any better than the rest.

I am surprised at those that think the wife did not cheat. What if she started fucking him and took the call before they both came and aborted the act. Should I expect to see comments that say, "She didn't cheat. They didn't come!"? What if they were rubbing their genitals together and they both came? Should I think that was okay because there was no penetration?

By the way, who should be the judge of whether she cheated or not? You, me, god, a court judge, the spouse or who? If you found your wife in a certain situation, would you ask me if I thought she was in the clear or not? Would you ask a priest? Why would not you allow that courtesy to this husband? What do you think he would say or do if she told him about it? "I am proud of you, honey. You could have blown him as long as you did not swallow."

She might not have betrayed your trust, but I am positive that she has betrayed her husband's (trust).

Let us be real.

As with all your other stories . . .

I enjoyed this one. I think it highly plausible that a man or a woman could be caught up in the excitement of a sexual encounter and still be in love with her/his spouse. The timing of the phone call took away that excitement and replaced it with common sense and a reminder of the feelings for the spouse and helped avoid a potentially disastrous event.

good but not perfect

There were a number of things I liked about your story. First of all, I liked the way you built suspense and made the reader wait for what was (or was not) going to happen. One in particular thing was the way you escalated Marie's intentions with Dan as the story progressed. It went from accepting a 'just friends' dinner to an anticipated date, to a situation where she decided she would just get it over with and supposedly out of her system, to giving in to lust. I also liked the way you had Dan play the smooth operator thing. The subtle touches and feigned interest in her marriage, also the way he says or does something suggestive, then acts cool and professional when the boss walks in. He clearly has her targeted for seduction and is working carefully towards that goal and playing her like an expert.

A couple of things I don't like. Firstly, the timing of the husband's phone call. It was too convenient that it was almost corny. Maybe it would have been better to have the husband call her on her way home and have ir play on her mind while foreplay was happening with Dan. Another thing was the whinging tone of the husband's call. It almost sounded like he knew what was happening and was trying to plead with her to stop. He just sounded really lame. The phone call would have had the same impact of he had just told her he missed and loved her and hated having to be apart, without the pathetic whinging. One last thing was how the story ended. She did go too far, even if they didn't fuck. Maybe she didn't go so far as to completely wreck her marriage but the line seems to havebeen drawn in a fairly liberal position. She lied to her husband, went on a date with another man with the intention of having sex with him (and knowing full well that was his intention all along), took him into thier home, groped with him for all it was worth, allowed him to brig her to orgasm, and (to top it all off) started giving him a hand jod while she answered the phone to her husband. So she didn't almost fuck up, she did fuck up - she just didn't fuck. I would be interested to see how you would have dealt with her confessing to her husband about what almost happened (and what actually did). An intersting angle is how he dealt with the lonliness by ringing her and pouring his heart out, she dealt with it by giving her attention to another man (even if she didn't go all the way). Maybe there is a chapter 2 in this?

anyway, it was better than most of the stories in this category.

Almost?????????

I loved the story, and as I'm sure you know, you are among the top writers of this genre. You have a way of weaving a tale, of that there can be no doubt. What really screwed up this tale for me was the tittle. Almost? Maybe is should have been called, Mostly. Mostly was closer to the point. Like Bill Clinton mostly had sex with Monica. Almost would have been if she Almost got into the car with him. Almost would have been if she Almost accepted his dinner invitation. The bottom line is, would she been able to do what she did with her husband standing in the same room. Anything else is cheating pure and simple. She crossed the line. What goes on internally inside your head can not be helped but when you act, even to the slightest degree, you've gone too far. An A for effort, the story was real good, but the tittle and the point missed the boat. LYG

Quite thought provoking.

It reminds me of the Catholic warning on the near occasion of sin: any person, place or thing that leads us into sin.

Tammy Wynette caught the feeling of this in her song "Almost Persuaded," as does Gretchen Wilson's "When I think About Cheatin'."

This story, and both of these songs, all show - at some level - a lack of respect and honesty to a spouse.

"When I think About Cheatin'" is about being tested but considering the consequences and staying true. "Almost Persuaded" goes beyond that to dancing and serious consideration - but not going home with the guy. In this story she brings him into her bedroom and has sexual contact and only a coincidence stops her. The first two made the conscious decision not to cheat. Marie actually cheated twice once by doing every thing but copulate (and that only accidentally) and by not telling him.

He has no role in this ... but her conscience would have made her life hell for a few years but contrarily made their marriage stronger.

Very well written and develops and leads up to her ultimate anguish as well as it can be done.

Great read!
Regards, Jack

Into the mindset of a cheater

with respect to the art of the narrator you offered another of what I am coming to recognize as your signature narrating delicious servings. You could not do better. A testimony to your achievement will be the diversity of responses from the readers. To me the narrator was almost too obvious in “his” ironic view of the subject of the story, as ‘he’ calls her thinking “rationalization” and at no point gives her actions and thoughts any support beyond the naked reporting. As far as her thought process it’s presented in its entire self serving disjointed manner as it is meant to serve its owner for the purpose of providing a shaky “justification” for her libidinal urges and vain feminine ego. Still the indirect narrative technique is used on this level of subtlety rarely enough to allow some readers, among them some who are quite experienced to misread the narrator (and come to the wrong conclusions reg. the implied author) as taking the question of the story’s title as mere rhetorical one, and as meant to be answered in the positive - i.e. they report to understand the implied author position to be that the wife has not cheated (?). My answer -write more in this style but please don’t simplify your narrative technique to prevent misreads.
I will have to agree this time with some of your other fans on the dramatic quality of the story though. Only for the most literalists you have left any window to argue that there was indeed “a save”, as no body fluids were exchanged … For the rest, a full blown cheating could have started any time from developing strong and distracting attraction to the guy without addressing it with the husband as a symptom to a problem in the relations, and all the way to where she makes the decision that she will allow the date to end with sexual intercourse. In that respect, dramatically speaking, the phone call came too late.
While the interplay of the wife’s mind was a master piece in ironic narrative, the overall development of the plot, including the interaction between the wife the lover and the husband, was pretty linear. Namely, it developed on a predictable course. The one interesting point I did find here was with regard to the lesson that both partners could learn from that desperate phone call. While it technically came too late, it did allow the two to reconnect and re align. But why couldn’t they speak their minds/needs earlier? Both of them. The reader can hope that this couple will be savvy enough to generalize from this near fatal crush of the relationships (it was a non fatal crush of the relations, and each felt it in a different way) more rigorous open communication measures which they will both need to maintain in order to avoid the next crush.

Into the mindset of a cheater (and the narrator…)

With respect to the art of the narrator you offered another of what I am coming to recognize as your signature narrating delicious servings. I will purposely refrain from the traditional terminology: third person omniscient or third person limited, which could have both applied but, in fact are both inaccurate here. A more complex form is actually used here which combines the POV of the character and the narrator. But setting nomenclature aside, you could not have done a better job on the reporting of the main character’s mind set.
While to the most part one could not pin point an explicit ‘narrator position’ as separated from the reported attitudes of the wife (you have to derive it from the tone and the language of the narrator), once or twice I was able to “catch the narrator’s voice critiquing directly the wife. For example, the narrator describes the wife’s thinking at one point as “rationalization”. But these are the rare exceptions to the otherwise “Waldo” like nature of the narrator.
On the other hand, at no point can we find the narrator giving the wife’s actions and thoughts any support beyond the naked reporting. The only tone you could consistently find is irony. As far as her thought process, it’s presented in its entire self serving disjointed manner, exactly as it was designed to be - a tool for the purpose of providing a shaky “justification” for her libidinal urges and vain ego. And yet, despite this consistent refrain from support on the part of the narrator, we STILL find that the indirect narrative technique which is used here is apparently too subtle or perhaps being used on this level of subtlety rarely enough as to lead some readers (among them some who are quite experienced), to misread the narrator (and come to the wrong conclusions reg. the implied author) as taking the question of the story’s title as mere rhetorical one, and as meant to be answered in the positive - i.e. they report to understand the implied author position to be that the wife has not cheated (?). My reaction: please write MORE in this style; but please don’t simplify your narrative technique to prevent misreads. In the area of the art of narration you are, together with very few other authors here a trail blazer.
On the other hand, I have to agree this time with some of your other fans on the dramatic limitations of the story though. Only for the most literalists you have left any window to argue that there was indeed “a save” for the wife , as no body fluids were exchanged … For the rest, a full blown cheating could have started any time from developing strong and distracting attraction to the guy without addressing it with the husband as a symptom to a problem in the relations, and all the way to where the wife made the decision that she would allow the date to end with sexual intercourse. In that respect, dramatically speaking, the phone call came too late.
While the intricacies of the wife’s mind playing tricks on itself was a masterpiece in ironic narrative, the overall development of the plot, including the interactions between the wife the lover and the husband, were pretty linear. In other words, they developed on a fairly predictable course. The one interesting point I did find here was with regard to the lesson that both partners could learn from that desperate phone call. While it technically came too late, it did allow the two to reconnect and re align. But why couldn’t they speak their minds/needs earlier? (Both of them). One important question that remains ambiguous: have this couple learned anything from this event BEYOND the particulars of traveling alone etc? The reader can only hope that this couple will be savvy enough to generalize future lessons, based on this near fatal crush of the relationships. In retrospect it was a ‘non fatal crush of the relations’, and each felt it in a different way. Will they establish regular clear and open patterns of communication between them as one major lesson learned, or will they just celebrate their survival over the storm and trust that all is ok again? At the end we know only about the wife’s state of mind, so, IMO, with regard to this couple’s future viability the story ends while the jury is still out…

Oh the shame...

Please ignore the earlier draft version which I left alone, then came back and fixed (while assuming that I have erased that old unfinished draft). How was it sent? How did it get 75? What is my name? All is going to be checked and hopefully (for me) some clarity will be formed in my mind...

Untill than my apologies for the confusion.

ALMOST????

Now I understand the question mark in the title. For most, believe she did indeed cheat. She accepted the dinner date, knowing the probable outcome. They kissed in he parking lot, they were fondling each other in public in the lounge and in the front seat of the car. She made the decision to have intercourse with him to the point that she was actually sitting on the bed in front of him unbuckling his pants, pulling them down and took out his penis and was inches away from sucking it.
At this time she had already broken her vows and committed adultry. The fact that her husband called interrupting their sex only took her out of the mood as any emergency would. She no longer possessed the lust she had cultivated over the weeks and had already decided to harvest. She made no conscience decision to not pursue this affair for the love of her husband. There was no will power here that stopped the affair only a hormonal response. The dopamine levels present in her body during arousal were quelched by adrenalin from a percieved emergency ending her affair. In short, she was no longer horney. She cheated and got away with it, or did she...
Next door, Mrs. Perkins was awaken at 3:00am by the sound of a car door slamming and the neighbor's garage door opening. She watched as Marie and Dan entered the garage closing the door behind them. She noticed that Dan was not her husband. She then noticed the upstairs bedroom light come on and Marie was soon sitting on the bed in front of the stranger dressed only in her pink panties unbuckling the man's belt and sliding down his pants. Mrs. Perkins watched in horror as Marie reached into the man's boxers and pulled out his erect penis while leaning forward with her mouth open. Discusted, Mrs. Perkins turned away from the window and went back to bed making sure that she remembered to tell Jeff when he returned, knowing that he was out of town. She loved that man like her own son. He was always helping her out with chores that she could no longer perform in her old age. He is such a sweet man and doesn't deserve an ungrateful cheating wife. She never like Marie anyway. She considered her selfish and self-centered. She was always complaining that Jeff worked too much and didn't have enough time for her. When in fact, he was always taking her out to dinner and dancing and to their cabin in the mountains even when you could see he was dead tired from all the hours of work so he could put both of their sons through college and keep her living in luxury. It's only been lately that he has had to travel so much. She even whined and complained when Jeff would ask me if I needed anything done. Yes, when he returns I'm going to tell him exactly what has been going on behind his back. They ALMOST lived happly ever after.

Anon - good ending

Anon - good ending. It is a much better ending than any ending that the Celt has recently written for his stories.

She's A 'HO!

Only a matter of time before she cheats, but it doesn't matter cause her whining wimp of a husband will taker her back, after he has a good cry. It sure is hard to develop any sort of empathy for either one of these LOSERS!

I gave you a five, but I rate the wife as a zero.

She is a slut, except for timing she would have completed the affair she was in and committed the intercourse that would have been complete betrayal and adultry. That she let it get so far is a sign of her personality weaknesses that show very poor morals, ethics, and character. Put another way she will cheat as soon a opportunity and rationalized excuse join each other. The husband is much better off without her.... Then we hear people say why did he divorce her after so many years and why take that dumb bimbo of a trophy wife. Put another way, if you have a wife that might cheat on you, better she be young, cute, and sexy.

A very good story..

This is an excellent story and showed in a realistic way how temptations can happen. Of course, being a short story, you had to appreviate and describe the build up in the wife, but it does happen. She was certainly not a slut. A confused, frustrated, lonely and perhaps selfish person, but one who in the end came through. I think the phone call from the husband was both a very good device and a little cliche. I think it would have been better for her to stop it before she got to her house, and on her own, but it still worked. I am amused at how many readers of these type of stories simpy put everyone in a black and white category. I do hope their lives are as simplistic as their views, or at least they continue to live in their own rather limited understanding of humans and reality. Well done.

The wife is a slutty adulterer.

That she didnt commit the final act of intercourse does not provent her from being involved with a man and beginning sex. The act accepted in the brain is but one step in the path of movement. She was fucked by the man before she went out with him in her brain. She was involved in an affair the marriage is a farce.

This is what the husband should do

He should suck on another woman's tits and finger her pussy. Then, he should send her away and confess to his slut wife that he ALMOST cheated on her. Let's see how she feels. He didnt actually go through with it right? He ALMOST did it. So it's ok after all.
