I'm not sure I have the right guy in mind but I think the first time his name came to my attention was seeing a photo of him engaged in an act of autofellatio. I'll have to check his book to see if I'm correct.

Well written essay. it reminds me of another autobiography I read a few years ago. This one was by the porn actor Jerry Butler. While Bulter seemed to spend a great protion of the book telling us how many gorgeous women he had fucked and how many men he had rebuffed in what seemed a desperate attempt to convince us of his sexuality, he dropped names and situations. While Jeremy doesn't seem as confused as Butler when it comes to whhom he wants to fuck I don't think it's a coincidence that these guys were very jealous of their mainstream counterparts.

My wife and I had head heard a friend of ours mention Ron Jeremy (almost hallowedly) as one of the biggest names in porn. We didn't know who her was. A couple weeks later we saw a picture of him on the cover of an adult cd. I was surprised at how fat and ugly he was and showed it to my wife. She grimaced and said, "Gross!" Ron Jeremy did me a great favor. I'll never worry about my size again! It's better (at least from my wife's point of view, and that's all that matters really) to be modestly endowed and good-looking than to be hung like a horse and, well, I'll be kind. . . (Though I will admit I'll never star in porn!)

A new chapter in his life, he was pretty close to dying in January '13, he never did gain the legitemacy he so desired, porn fell by the wayside, the problem was that no matter how they tried to make real, it still looked 2 people having sex with no intimacy, after awhile fake sex is still boring.
