Then worry about putting "hot sex" into it where it fits, makes sense and contributes. At least with a porn video you can cut they sound while they're talking an fast forward to the sex, skipping the contrived hokey stupid shallow annoying character development, or scene setting.
It only adds something if it's done well. Done well isn't just spelling, grammar and punctuation. A good story generally revolves around someone you can relate to, wish you were or wish you knew. Sure, maybe some of the readers wanted to be the cheating slut or the friend cucking the protagonist's dad, but most of those readers are looking at Loving Wives, not Mature. If the story had an author's note at the start warning the reader this was an incestuous voyeurism cuckold story that just happened to include a mature woman, I would have known to skip it. Instead, it got an "I hated it!"
