Cute!

T.S. Eliot would be tickled to read this :)

What Walter Mitty was REALLY thinking

Love it. If Thurber could have gotten away with it, I'm sure that's what was REALLY going through Walter Mitty's mind.

Welcome to the club!

As a Charter Member of the "Long Past It Daydreamers and Wankers Club", I welcome you to our group. I have a wonderful time with many of these same ladies in the Theatre of the Mind.

Remarkable!

What middle-aged middle-class married man doesn't have fantasies like these? Well done! And of course the insertion of phrases from Jabberwocky selaed the deal! I look forward to the Further Adventures Of George Prufrock!

Clever

Clever use of Eliot and Thurber for this genre. Well written and amusing.

Yes

Either you bumped your head, or you're smoking something really good, or most likely blessed with a fantastic imagination and the ability to put it into words. I have yet to read chapter 2 but have high hopes.
