i love your line breaks, your stanza breaks, your succinct language. i find all, excellent. i do not doubt that you have each and every word exactly as you want it, but still find myself questioning 'is'. should it be 'was'? (my lack of education showing)

I think it is "is", doing implies present tense. TY. This is just fodder for what I thought was a neet bi-lingual play on words. Japanese - excersise breath, or something like that. Ki prononced the same as key, at least aroung here.
