Huh...

I liked the idea of the story, the little person wasnt so wonderful and actually kind of made me feel sick but I did like most of it.

Dense, dark, and moving

There's a lot to this small story, including a narrator who goes from brash and self-centered to a sympathetic victim, and an appropriately harsh take on rape, rather than the typical pornified non-con tale. There are some nice subtleties, like the perp's lack of libido when the victim is willing, and the narrator's casual dismissal of the idea of reporting the crime, all delivered in a straightforward, conversational narrative voice that gives the main character depth without getting maudlin.
