All Comments on 'Colleen Ch. 03'

It's funny... last night I was re-reading Chapter 1, and thought to myself, "I wonder when Texas Refugee's ever going to write that third chapter?" You really pulled out all the stops, and your final chapter in the story of Bobby and Colleen has cemented this in my mind and heart as one of the best stories I've ever read on Lit. I take my hat off to you, and wish you the very best with whatever future stories you've got in the pipeline.

The story of brother and sister at first was intriging, But get past the first chapter and you realise that this story was born of true love, Be it by the charactors that were written about or by the author in his dedication to get things right. I have never read anything on literotica in any genre that was better than this story, From start to finish you felt part of the lives of the people in this story and to me that shows the sign of a fantastic writer who is completley dedicated to his craft and a natural ability to tell a story. I don't know the words to describe just how fantastic i thought this gentleman was in writing this story but if this was written into a book and was available to buy i would purchase it and keep it as a treasured addition to my small liberary(please excuse my spelling) kind regards and all the best and continued success, Steve

is that I've never been able to sit down and read the incredibly well-reviewed MONTANA SUMMER series. <p>

I actually tried a few times, in the first half or so installments. I could never get it off the ground and moving, into the story and characters, etc. I have seen the rave reviews and I have also read short synopses, so I know the athor, DARKSIDE OF THE MOON, is an extremely good writer. And, yet, for some reason, to my own regret, I have never been able to read it! <p>

But I truly love LONG, elaborate spectables and pagentry when it comes to stories. LONGHORN_07's tales of love, loss, and sometimes redemption....HUMMINGBYRD07's long Scince Fiction series.....GaryAPB's BACK TO BRISTOL... You name them,,, the longer, the better, once I get to know the quality work of an author.... <p>

COLLEEN, by Texas Refugee, is one of those long, good ones. <p>

I guess one of my problems is that I have very limited focus: <p>

I like to see and feel and touch and sense the goosebumps on the woman's stomach, or breasts, as she's being made love to lanquidly by ONE caring guy, in a fantastical Romeo-Juliet world, where they and only they, at that time and that place, exist. No one else exist or matter. Not even the exploding of a supernova 1 light year away (which must have happened exactly one year ago to the time of this love making event). <p>

COLLEENS is in that vein: <p>

two very loving individuals coming together and for a time, they gaze longingly into each other's infinite souls, ignoring the hundred billion other star systems in the Milky Way and the hundred billion other galaxies in the cosmos.... I could actually ignor the fact that they are siblings. <p>

Orgies, on the other hand,,,, where the woman or women are being pummeled like little fake Tammy Baker barbie dolls, screaming like dolls with rechargable batteries whicn never wane, where a few minutes later, the guys scream like being bitten by Vick's bulldogs, and pull out from the women's but, vagina, or ear holes and run scurring to pointing their dicks at her mouth and spraying her thick, ugly smelly lather of bodily seminal, vagina, and shit fluids ------ I just don't find such multiple-people engagement very "exciting" or erotic.... <p>

Of course, it is reported that women, many women, find such unclen, unsave, smelling acts quite aphrodisiac and they scream like they are perpetually orgasming [99 percent of the time false/pretending and NOT very believable, either]. Many READERS, too, seem to like such smelly, unclean bodily fluid exchange, of roomfuls, where women doing most of the injesting and swallowing, thus serving the receptors of basically all of the tens of trillions of bacteria, germs, and viruses being passed around/discharged.... <p>

To me, that's pretty gross.

You did a fabulous job with this story.

I normally don't read very long stories, but this captivated me from the very start of the first chapter. With each successive page, and chapter, it got my curiosity going even more. I hope you'll keep writing. Since you gave all of us advice, let me share some with you, and all, advice given to me from author Norma Fox Mazer. "All writing begins with you. Don't be afraid of what you think".

Yes, you included it all as far as emotions for both the characters and the readers of your story. I felt disgusted and frustrated in chapter 1 right along with the characters. The sensuality and love was very pronounced throughout the story. I laughed and teared in chapters 2 and 3 with the antics of the kids along with Margaret.

While some of the reactions of family to Colleen and Bobby's relationship was somewhat incredulous, it could not have been otherwise and still show the deep familial love and support that each member seemed to exude to their siblings. Totally supportive family was the message here and a heartwarming one at that.

Please, please, please continue with your writing if this is the quality that you have set as your standard. So what if it takes you a while to "pound the keyboard" to produce. The wait is worth it and I trust that the kudos from the readers are enough encouragement for you to continue.

Although I --- intellectually --- agree with the author to have the main character eternally severing himself from a woman he loved deeply, never ever want to know any thing about her and her heinous crimes against him, IN A VENGEFUL AND TWISTED WAY, and great as the story about the lives of Robert and Colleen has turned out to be, in the back of my mind, in my guts, I want to see and know what the bitch has become. <p>

After all these years, I wonder in the memories of her memory if she has eternal regrets about heinously hurting someone who is a very decent, loving, and nurturing human being who --- all the years you've been with him --- woke up every morning and go to bed every night thinking of you first and foremost. <p>

In the back of mind mind, Barbara --- whose "surprise" and reciprocal love for for Robert, giving birth to a bi-racial baby of a rapist and a criminal who was quickly convicted, sentenced to prison and then quickly stabbed to death --- in the back of my mind, as I slowly relish the sexy, loving, tender, nurturing, and long-lasting life of Robert and Colleen, I wonder, "What is Barbara thinking or doing these moments.... all these years.... without that someone who loved her and only her totally?" <p>

Whether she cried herself to sleep when there's just her and the baby from the Black rapist-extortionist whom, at certain point, Barbara must have been giddy and armorous with, as they fucked away into the dawn, thinking she and her lover of endless stamina were having the best of all worlds....<p>

I wonder whether Barbara grew old wiser or bitter and hateful.....Whether she longingly wished for secand chances, reliving again again, so she could make better decisions, in trusting her instincts, in confiding in the mate who was willing to die for her, who was there to wipe her mouth when she threw up.... <p>

And, yet, again, I totally agree with Texas Refugee to NOT have Rober think about a painful past that he would never again revisit, even if just in thoughts or passing. I was very piqued when the author had Mrs. Lopez, Robert's old scretery back in Chicago, ask him whether or not he wanted to know any "thing else" about his old/forgotten Chicago life.... I thought the author was going to have Robert say, "Sure, tell me about..." But, no, instead the author had the hero succinctly say, "No, thanks. I don't want to know any thing else about that life". <p>

That was simple, good, non-scripted, non-Literotica formulaic-writing.

Since Friday morning I have read all three chapters of this fantastic love story. I can't think of any other words to describe it other than amazingly incredible. Each chapter draws the reader into the story emotionally, and this chapter really did so for me, bringing tears to my eyes. It's amazing, because once you get into the story, you kinda forget that Bobby and Colleen are brother & sister, and this story surpasses any other story in this category and, I'll venture to say this, the whole entire site with an infinite difference between the quality.

I would like for you to know, that you most certainly did not waste your time on this story, because it is satisfying to me, and other readers I am sure, in many different aspects.

great story but the last chapter was a litte long probably should have been 4 chapters also it would have been nice if you had put some dates in the story especially the last chapteryou squeezed about twenty years into one chapter jumping from year to year very confusing

First, a note to the commentor who couldn't read "Montana Summer". What a shame. You missed something on a par with this one. That said, "Colleen" was a great piece of writing that made me laugh out load in the quiet of my little casa here in Mexico, not an easy feat for a 79-year-old widower. It also, again, moved me to tears many times over. The line about learning where babies come from was as priceless as the tuna fish crack in 2. Great job.

I agree with the comment that this could have very easily been a "Romance" category. It is as good as or better than Montana Summer, in a somewhat different way...both excellent and I might add " a long time coming" but oh so worth it! Great job!

A great story with "nice" people, how you manage to keep track of the characters absolutely astounds me, congratulations I will come back to this story many times in the future.

One of the things that my wife and I hate about porno movies is their lack of a plot. The same could be said about most "Adult Stories". The one thing that we both like about your stories, is that sex is not the foremost thing about it, rather it is intertwined into the plot. The story is a very good example of all that can be and is good in life. Too often we concentrate on only the bad in our life, and forget all of the good people and good times that we have all around us. This was a very good love story that helps us remember all of what we should hold dear in our lives.

Yes, your story is good and a Godsend to me personally. I am sitting here at the computer without a woman like Colleen or her mom in my life. When the time is right, that will be if it's meant to be.<p>

Maybe in a future story you can add conversation between characters to the effect of husband and wife being #1 to each other. After all, if the kids make a conscious choice for a life mate who will always be their #1 and it's fully reciprocated, haven't they just done their best to put themselves and their mate on a path for lifelong happiness?<p>

If those kids in turn teach it to their children, will it not be a blessing to all their future generations? We both know it will and the readers of this comment will know, too.<p>

I can only think of perhaps 3 or 4 very well written stories on Literotica, Montanna Summer being one of them. But this story is absolutely remarkable. Every human emotion was brought forth in the writing of this fantastic love story.

It was a long wait for Chapter 03 and I drifted away from Literotica awhile because the vast majority of the stories here are poorly written. Although I give every author credit for trying, there are only a few that have been able to keep me interested from beginning to end. This one had me rivited. I smiled, I laughed, I teared up, I felt sad, I felt happy, I was angry (but only with Barbara), and I was a part of this story from beginning to end because of the excellent writing by you, Texas Refugee.

The wait was well worth it and I thank you for such a marvelous story for all of us to enjoy.

I've read more than my share of stories on quite a few sites. Some hot and steamy, some long, slow, loving, and the very few rare ones like this, that include everything I really want. I had already read the first 2 installments when this came out, but I decided to take you up on your suggestion and read all 3 sequentially. Let me just say, it's been nearly 4 hours well spent, and let me simply say, thank you, for the wonderfull story.

One tiny nitpick: Only elephants dialate to 21cm. Actual human females are considered "fully dialated" at 10cm.

One thoughtful question: Obviously, it all worked out for the best with Colleen, but I can't help but wonder what his first wife was trying to tell him. Was she raped? Coerced? Did the supervisor threaten both their jobs? Based on what we know of him, was she more of a victim than an philanderer? I can't believe, even so much later, that he refused to read her letter.

Simply put this was an amazing and very captivating story. I'm not into incest, however this was the exact kind of story i was hoping to find. You would have to be tied for my favorite author on here so far that i've read, and believe me i've read quite a few. You grasp the concept of love amazingly and you are able to define it in words not just say "oh and they're in love". I felt every emotion you described in here just as if i was Bobby. This story was excellent, you got us involved in the characters' lives before you took them to Heaven and Hell.

The part with Barbara was described so vividly almost as if you've lived that experience. I have personally, not marriage per sey, and you hit the nail on the head. Excellent job i look foreward to reading more stories by you.

The plot twists and details, the overall content of love, family and dedication are something I never expected to find on Literotica...or anywhere, for that matter. I must admit this story is not what I expected, but what a delightful accident that I stumbled upon it in the "best of" section! While many stories are erotic, well, for the sake of being erotic, your's works on a much more meaningful level, and would not be the same without the "vivid" descriptions. The unique situation, the accepting family members, and the vividly described and developed characters truly work together to create a picture of an amazing love that anyone would envy.

At risk of angering Mark Twain, the analogy that nothing should get in the way true love, regardless of what society thinks, is a lesson we can all learn from, and has meaning on so many different levels. I would like to say that I thoroughly enjoyed your story. It is beautifully written. I saw no problems in your grammar and spelling. The relationships are toroughly realistic, but there is a very important factor that I should mention. None of the characters were bothered by the incestuous relationship Bobby and Colleen had. In a real situation, the problem of dealing with the law is always an issue. But that doesn't mean you can't still do it. There are ways to legally marry a relative. In the traditional culture of Bali, twins were forced into marriage due to beliefs. Surely this is also allowable when the twins are more willing just as well.

Regardless, the lack of law in your story does not ruin the story... it probably makes it even better. Please note that I am not critisizing you for lack of realism. I am merely noting it.

Also, and I don't know why, but it has been proven so far that inbreeding causes birth defects, which no one has in the story. Once again, this is just a note I'm passing along.

I myself have been musing over a my own incest story I'm planning to write. It'll be about a pair of twins with the same genuine love that Colleen and Bobby shared, yet they deal with problems that life throws at them. Parents, the law, pregnancy, questions of morality, and possibly BDSM.

As I conclude, I'd just like to tell you that you should continue writing and to keep up the good work. If you work hard and give it a lot of effort, you have the potential to publish a book. It may prove a difficult road for you, but I believe that anybody who applies himself can write a great story. Do not falter.

One more thing, I'm curious about your decision to add those lines that Mark Twain wrote.

I have my internal medicine exam in 3 weeks and I have spent last 36 hours with Harrison’s internal medicine book in 1 hand my mobile in my other hand reading the story. I don’t remember anything I read from the book and my mind is spinning around the colleen trilogy. I haven’t read, seen and heard any story better than this. The sweet, profoundly LOVING SEX (or SEXY LOVING) in this amazing, multilayered ROMANCE is for me a tableau of gentle smiles and laughter that celebrates the divine joy of humanity experienced to its full richness. Every type and kind of love is here: parental, sisterly, brotherly, sexily romantic, gay, ludicrous, silly, incestual (three different kinds), loyal, collegial, friendly, even with a reference to the sense of humor of the Lord God. The many characters are ALL interesting. All of the relationships are admirably happy. The narrator's musings include some of the most incisive contemplations on sex, marriage, parenting, even the vagaries of time itself, which I have ever read (and I know full well the Bible, Marina Tsvetaeva, and Shakespeare's sonnets). The final complex set of jokes between Bobby and Colleen which draws them into making love ONE MORE TIME! before sleep is a great way to cap the whole thing, now that at age 60 they are in agreement that they will limit their long-loved screwing to about 20 times a week when they get to be 90. I am knocked down (or up) by this long romantic novella! I love it! I adore it! Thank you for a masterpiece!

Kudos to you, sir. I just finished reading all three chapters of this phenomenal story of yours (I started shortly after midnight and am posting this at 2:25 in the AM). Truly amazing; I've read probably the majority of brother/sister stories on Literotica and ASSTR (well, the one's worth reading, that is), and no story has ever made me laugh out loud, tear up a bit, and yes, contemplate risking blindness and hairy palms as much as this one. A romance is by far my favorite type of erotica, and I'm afraid now that the bar has been set unattainably high from now on. A wonderful story. It reflects how life should and could be, and moved me very much. Just one small complaint and that is about the grammar, particularly the use of "Colleen and I" where it is the object in the sentence and "Colleen and me" would have been correct. But the story is so good that for me it still rates 100%. At least.

The ENTIRE series of "Colleen" was the best!!! I'm 60 yrs old and a old hand at love - but when I started reading Colleen -- I couldn't stop!!! This series "could" (and maybe "should") be made into a movie or novel. You've captured the essence of Love-story writing!!
