well written :-)
a very well written prologue to what could be a fascinating story . . . there arent many stories that explore this idea in any great depth . . and all of the stories I know of are Japanese . . and then two movies . . . . . . the stories: . . . Chobits . . an incredible story that explores the idea from a number of different viewpoints . .

A.I. . . . . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_Intelligen ce:_A.I . . . . . . . the other movie came out long years ago and had a premise of an android/AI companion for the handicapped . . it was a female android designed to be a helpful companion to a wheelchair bound guy . . I saw parts of it on TV some years ago, but unfortunately I can not remember the name of it

What a wonderful story
What an Interesting & Unusual Premise!
I only hope that it doesn't take another millenium before
the inventors have created a thinking cyber-person like
BES. This is 2007 and 3022 is a LONG TIME for many types of
advancements but the human mind and heart may not change as
rapidly. I look forward to following the Girl from Nepal
to other countries and perhaps other times? Thank YOU DT!!
