Quick question
Isn't Alysa paralyzed, from the waist down? Does she have sensations below the waist? Maybe I misunderstand why she's in a wheelchair, but I thought she had some sort of accident and became paralyzed. I hate to bring realism into a fictional story -- but when you described her as being able to feel his hands on the inside of her thighs, and of her being able to keep her feet planted up on the desk, neither of which is realistic given her physical condition -- you lost me.
This has been a slow moving, but sweet story. I think the chapters are too short on their own, and it needs to be realistic. The emotions are well described though.

Thanks for the comment. As far as her disability goes, here's what was said in part I---"Without getting too technical, I can only tell you that I was born with a defect of my spine and my leg muscles are too weak for me to use. Contrary to what most people assume when they see me, I am not completely paralyzed."
