You really need to add in something to explain how, when and why they became mates. It comes out of the blue in this chapter. They met and had sex once and then all of a sudden you call them mates.

Does she know they are mated?

I think you should add something in answering those questions.

Other than that..good read.

I was enjoying the story. . . until he stuck a claw into vagina. All I could think after that was "omg, that long claw is ripping out her vaginal wall and she likes it."

The female equivalent of a kick to the balls.
