I mean, that's what a beginner therapist would have said to you, have you read this poem to him/her. Since you asked, I'll say that the comment above is not accidental. There is a lot of raw pain in straight forward language in your text. But for the sake of a poem it’s too naked, or too direct; there seems to be no distance which should allow you to gain some perspective on what you are going through. Pain itself is not a poem. There are no additional angles presented in a literary form here. I am not trying to put you down or to insult you in any way. Just my way to honestly convey to you what is missing. Perhaps revisit the same in some time. It will be interesting to compare the results. Good luck.
