She sounded just like my Grandpa. Even though he was a modern man, he had just that amount of old fashioned need to eschew modern convienence. Hell, he farmed with horses and tractors into the 1970's my. His son's used tractors on his farm, but he prefered horses and all that entailed. I loved to go ride with him behind the horses.
