A New Beginning Ch. 02

I hate these kind of reconciliation stories. They end up justifying the wife's cheating and in the end she doesn't really have suffer any consequences for being an unfaithful whore. How is cheating on her husband and fucking a stranger outside a bar a better alternative than artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization? Grandma and Alex's father just magnified and perpetuated the deceit and betrayal by their actions and acceptance of it. This story shouldn't be in the romance section.

The children's interest is the first. If Jennie is not a slut or serial cheater and she is a great mom for the 2 children, I think Alex's reconcilation was suitable.

I found something in the story what I do not understand well. What do Alex and Jennie want to tell the children? It is right Mandy must know who was her true father, but Alex junior.... I think Alex junior must not know about his conceive by a stranger from a bar. What a stupid idea! What will he think about his mother? Will he trust any women? Will he be a serial cheater in his future?

Wow a cuckold story with a twist

Mandy is his, she was there from the beginning. Marci and Mandy were a package deal. But Alex Jr is a product of a cheating wife, that's what makes him a cuckold. He knows where the kid comes from a takes her back anyway.

Why on Earth Did I Continue to Read This?

From the beginning it seems like the story would end this way, and I still read it. Damn my compulsion. I should've known better before reading a story from a writer with a cuck fetish. BTW, this make my chuckle, "Children I would never have been able to father." Yeah right, he had a low sperm count, not sterile. It's his wife that doesn't want to have fertility treatment.

It should be obvious

that she was lying the whole time and that his father is REALLY the father of the baby she had... back seat of a car? sure... NOT! That's the only reason that she would be welcome at his father's house and that there would be money left to her. Any other idea doesn't make sense. Shame, shame, shame...

Being a Dad

(1) The story basically depends on the lack of communication between Alex and Jennie. They made no effort to explore options to treat low sperm count, or to think about artificial insemination. I am not a medical expert, but my guess is that Alex could have had his sperm concentrated in a lab, and used to fertilize Jennie's egg.
(2) Being a 'Dad' is deep and long term bonding to a child and raising and caring for the resulting son or daughter. Sperm or egg donation is a separate matter entirely. I have three children whom I raised with my wife from infancy to adulthood. Two are adopted and one is from my sperm.
(3) The story is well written, with a positive ending for those who prefer that, like myself. He really does not spend much time with his children though he professes his 'love' for them.

Funny

I have just been reading some of the comments on this excellent if far fetched story and they are amusing. One person rages that he allowed his name on the birth certificate. The story makes it clear he did no such thing! Another says his Dad is the father of AJ. So what! He has accepted his ex-wife and her son and some other guys's daughter and now they are as happy as his Alzheimer Grandad!

Alex is not

really a very nice person. He professes everlasting love for Jennie but dumps her for getting someone else to perform a function he could not. The thought of bringing up a child sired by someone else is so repulsive that he bolts. He then goes on to marry a woman with a child. Little inconsistent here. After losing his second great love, Alex returns to the first.

All in all, Alex is a selfish - me first character.

Dubby49 said he was selfish for not raising another mans child. That's not why he left. He left because the wife who was supposed to love him cheated. He got no say in that decision. SHE was selfish. SHE wanted a baby so badly that she cheated, even when there were other options available. SHE was the one that would have lied to and deceived him for the rest of their lives. What if she hadn't conceived that first time? Her longing for a baby would have eventually driven her to try again and again. It would have gotten easier for her each time. What about when they wanted a second or third child? She might decide that if she can cheat to have a baby and not get caught, then why not some sport fucking? After all no harm no foul right?
Alex never got along with his father, but Jennie seemed to get along with him fine. She said the baby's father's name was John. I wonder if Alex's dad was named John? After all, she said she had to find someone that looked a bit like Alex, so who better? She spent a lot of time with him, with or without her child. Something to think about.

Oh and yes, in my musings below, I suggested Alex's dad could be the sperm donor named John, however its quite obvious this couldn't be the case. If it were true, then the DNA results would show Alex and the baby to be half siblings.

Sorry, Gotta Call Bull Crap On This One

First, I agree with the comment who said if he could forgive the cheating, lying slut he should be able to forgive Nichole who was a victim of circumstances.

Second, his family had no business seeing Jennie behind his back. IF the felt they had enough of an attachment to her and the pseudo-grandson that they had to maintain a relationship they should have let him know.

And she had NO right to tell "Alex, Jr" that Alex was his father.

And no matter what his feelings were, taking her back is total cuckold.

Loved it

I disagree with the previous comment. Time can heal wounds. Clearly, her post divorce actions prove her love and devotion to her ex. My only problem with this story is that her post divorce devotion does not match her cheating behavior. The development of the problem/conflict was not equal to the quality of the solution. However, I will not let that take away from my rating of the story. That flaw is so common on this site. If I can overlook it elsewhere, I can do it here. Five stars.

One more comment...

The twist at the end is perfect. Throughout the story the main character laments his bad luck. In the end he is amazed by his fortune. Nice.

The difference between cuck and non-cuck

Informed consent. A man who chooses to marry a woman with children and raise them as his own is not a cuck. Alex rejected his wife's attempt to cuck him, rejected her bastard and cut his ties with them both. He didn't spend years crying in his beer and curling up in the fetal position, he moved on with his life, rejecting another woman who deceived him and holding onto his principles until he found a woman who was worthy of him. Choosing to give his first wife another chance after Marci's death is a gamble, given her past behavior; he'll need to be prepared to dump her a second time if she falls into her past behavior again.

I am usually of the BTB group.

I feel that as long as he is going into this second marriage with Jennie, knowing her history, that it will be OK and that they will live happily ever after. Good luck to them both and to the children, too. What will happen when the children begin to love each other as teenagers and to the outward eyes of the world, they are brother and sister. Oh, well, this IS an incest site, is it not. A good story (and it is just a story so be cool, hotheads) and it entertained me.

It got very tricky & sad for Alex at different times throughout this tale, first Jennie, then Nicole & finally Marci & the only constants right through were his family's love & Jennie. It was nice to see a good romantic story. 5*****

The problem with this story is that it is a RAAC story, the writer was going to put them back together no matter what.

Jennie's contempt for Alex was plain. (see chapter 1 page 1)

Why would she get back together with a man she did not respect?
Why would he take a woman that did not respect him back?

She goes behind his back getting into the rest of his family's lives.
Just like she went behind his back to get pregnant.

Many commentators don't like this story because of the reconciliation. They seem to forget that the laps of time and love can overcome many barriers and obstacles in a relationship.

My mind hasn't changed from my earlier comments, and I have a couple of new thoughts:

“I suggested we go somewhere we could go with her daughter Mandy, since I wanted to meet her and I wanted Marci to know her daughter was not something I worried about.” – While that is sweet, a first REAL date ISN’T the time to meet a new love interest’s child!

Why let the Nanny go? It would seem that you would need her more than ever!

And I agree with others' comments that she had NO right to name her son Alex, Jr and to claim Alex as his father

I don't understand why so many people think he's a cuckold. He got rid of her and had several relationships including a real loving one with Marci. Only after losing Marci, did he consider Jennie again. It was obvious he always had love towards Jennie, but he had the self-respect to get rid of her. I guess I'm more understanding because I lost my wife when she was 39, and I haven't been happy since then. I understand that sometimes you have to be forgiving to attain happiness again. You might never find it again for the rest of your life (at least it seems like it is my fate at this time).

good story

This story is good, for a lot of reasons. Shows a lot of immaturity, and lack of communication, emotional stress, understanding of his fathers actions and emotions, along with his own. I think that some of the comments are not what some would call mature. It's a good story, and a couple lessons some of those commenters could learn from, but that is just wishful thinking.
