I loved it!
I have been away from Lit for a while, it was a welcome surprise on my return to see a submission from one of my favorite authors. Well done, Jim.
Great Story
Outstanding work, your story made my day.
W.T.F.
Great story, made my day! Thank you.
A great Christmas surprise
I really didn't expect to see any of my favourite authors putting a story on Christmas day and then making us wait for the ending...but I am so glad you did...thanks for a wonderful story. It will go into my little file that says THE CELT on it and all your stories are inside....Chuck
The good, the bad, the ugly.
I find it difficult that his father was so into deception that she was always in his life but he never told his son. That the father and mother, accepted the boy as his, without telling him. Makes me still wonder if the boy is his fathers. If you marry a woman with another persons child, yes you could marry your ex who had a child by another man, even if she had that child while she was married to you. Personally I dont see how, since the wife, stupid or not, went out and intentionally disrespected, betrayed, and acted as a slut accepting bareback sex with a "stranger", committing adultry on the marriage, and for that matter did she ever love you. I could forgive her being so stupid, I could forget she was a person without morals, ethics, or character. But I could never accept her as my mate and ever trust her again. Actually after finding out the deception going on I am not sure I could forgive my father for acting so strangely and in a way totally devoid of caring for my feelings or emotions. The best I can come up with is that the main character had so many mental problems himself, so many character flaws, that in his own warped mind, he was supposed to suffer and accept such a woman back into his life. Folks you are talking about a woman who wanted her own child so badly she totally betrayed, lied to, cheated on, and risk bareback sex with all of the STDS and AIDS risk, just to foster a bastard on her loving husband as his son. Is there any way this woman, loved, respected, and was trustworthy to her husband? Not a chance in hell! A fair story with a flawed forced reconciliation at any cost ending.
Really Good
Well done. Loved the ending, brought tears to my eyes.
Good story!
Another fine tale from thecelt. For a while it seemd like all his luck was bad, nice to see it change at the end. Grandma, Grandpa, and Dad did the right things and then circumstances gave them a chance. You will get hammerec for them getting back together from those thaat don't understand that time can heal wounds. Don't let them bother you. Well Done and Thanks.
My eyes are still misting, great story, thanks
Fine Story as always
I was a bit worried about the relationship between his father and Jennie, but apparently I just have a paranoid analytic sense! Basically if she waited six years for him, she deserves the renewal of the family connection and the kids certainly deserve a nice home.

A fascinating story told
with great sensitivity.
Well written as always and a good read.
Regards, Jack
well written but
well written but like all the Celt's stories, it is a reconciliation at any cost story with the same weak character that you can find in any other story that he wrote
so, the "moral" is
that "love" conquers all, including deception?
that's strange.
it's never about Alex Jr. that he could not accept, is it? No! it's that the woman whom he trusted with his life picked, per her word, some total stranger in a bar and had sex with him for the sole purpose of getting pregnant, because Alex couldn't do it...
Jennie was/is against invitro, for some inexplicable reason; it's not "natural," she reasoned. but it was, it IS, natural as well as okay (well, not really okay, she said, BUT she went ahead and did it ANY WAY, even if it was against her will, her better judgement, 'tis why, she said, she had to drink a lot and go out with her friends a lot, to those bars, before you could select the speciman with Alex's resmblance!!: my god, what fucking retard "reasoning" is that?) --- but it was/is okay to have sex with a complete stranger, for the purpose of getting pregnant!
what fuckin' Jerry Springer story is that? yeah, very romantic, too, for Alex to carry a torch for her, without him thinking about it consciously, all these 7-8 years!
"Please, forgive me, Jennie! I have always loved you! Marci, too, but nowhere close to the degree I've always loved you! Forgive you for running away like a coward!"
'Tis okay, Alex, you are no coward! It takes a real big man to admit his shortcomings, and you have done it, now. You know I only get pregnant for US, Alex is yours! Only his DNA is not yours, spiritually he is yours! I would do it again, if I could start all over, and do it exactly like I did. Look at your son, our son, Alex Jr. he is just like you, so much like you!"
I mean, excuse me, but WTF is that for having moral and ethics? Cheating, lying, and getting pregnant by some strangers ALL under the bridge now, because she's "love you more than my life itself?" so much that she had to sleep with another man, a complete stranger, she said, to get pregnant and was just to go pass him off as your own kid, and there is NOTHING immoral or unethical about that, as a behavior towards someone you love? and it is okay now, becausee "just look at your son, Alex Jr"???? LOL
no one ought to be above forgiving someone, for some wrong done against you, no! i'll forgive someone, too, if they had chopped off my arm, with a chain saw, in a drunkard rage.... but not a woman who professed her undying love for me, with whom I was willing to spend my last dime, to find all possible ways to get her pregnant, from artificial insemination to, possibly even consensual sex with a KNOWN "donors,,,,
but THERE IS NO WAY in fuckin hell I'm gonna forgive someone who says she has to go out with her friends a couple times to a bar, get semi-drunk, so she could pick out a fuckin' complete stranger, to have sex with, so she could get pregnant and pass the kid off as mine!
but, then, again, that's what makes us humans: some of us do seem to have less standards, moral, and ethics than others. unforgivable crimes to some, is okay and ultimately acceptable acts to others, so long as such acts produce "good deeds"; the means justifies the end, because the end was to have a kid; and for that she would cheat, fuck, kill,,, or do wahtever necessary,,, but such acts, again, are forgivable, since the end result was a kid named after Alex?!
"life is too short for grudges," someone genius yells! LOL....
A very good Loving Wives story and being human
The story leaves a lot untold as to how these two reconciled and why her needs superceded all else in her life. Is her self induced punishment for 7 years what she needs as a submissive person or has she found the child Alex Jr. to be what she really put all her feelings into. How has she changed and what is her real outlook on life? In other words can she now see to get what she needs, and not what she wants, can be all she really ever wanted. There are too many questions that are never answered to feel like these two people really have a clue to love and trust. What lays under the surface of each others mind, and more importantly, what is the need each has? Both have a lot to understand and not just jump into what seems good right now. Our personalities can change as we really understand that our needs can change with time.Wonderfully written and so much territory so adroitly covered in a short space. I just wanted to know more of their changing mind sets and how their feelings changed their outlook for good. It is so wonderful to see the fact that we as humans are really capable of changing important parts of ourselves in so many ways.Thank you for some great entertainment.PT
I have spent the last few days anxiously waiting
for this conclusion. I am a big fan of thecelt and I always enjoy reading your work and this story was no exception. I found it to be an interesting meld of a variety of different characters and situations and in spite of being pretty sure I knew where it was going, I enjoyed every moment. Thanks for sharing your time, energy and talent. As always . . . I am looking forward to more!
thanks
Thanks for the the story. Sometimes what you want is in front of you, just takes time to find it.
Thanks again Mike from Texas
Well thought out story
The story has good balance; and Celt shows here his considerable ability to bring out the feelings of the people he writes about. While I read this second part of the story I had the classic music station on FM radio in the background playing a work by Chopin. I can say that The Celt and Fredrick Chopin definitely go together very well. RAG
What they said
"well written but" and "so, the "moral" is" pretty much summed up the problems I have with this ending. It's forced and contrary to what was established in Chapter 1. There is NOTHING in this chapter to contradict the fact that Jennie makes unilateral decisions, which he just gives into. Nothing.
I guess I just don't understand people
When I dislike an author, I quit reading their works. I have never felt the urge to write a long letter telling them their shortcomings. Yet many of these folks posting clearly read your every story -- just so they can complain? And they say some of your characters are not acting logically? I guess I'll never understand trolls. You, on the other hand, are an excellent writer. If I had some constructive criticism, I would tell you. Please keep up the great work!
Darn it!! My first impression was correct
What I thought (I commented back on part one) and what I felt was that knowing you, by the end of the story you'd put them together, was correct. You just did it in a a more round about way and took it longer to do than I thought, but you still did it.
While I believe in redeemption she really didn't do anything to redeem herself to the man she married, cheated on, and then gave the said child (fathered by another man during their marriage) his name. What almost made me give the story a 0% was when he started appolgizing for being upset at her in the hospital, while watching her nurse another man's child she just had, while married to him, and somehow he felt it "wasn't his finest hour" and needed to appologize for it. It gave the apperance that everyone from his family on down thought he was wrong because wouldn't stay with her and the mess she created. Visting with his father often was nice gesture, but everyone in his family liked her so much that they made sure they kept her close, openly and very blatantly, without giving any real thought to how Alex might feel about them doing that. Even though she so throughly and completely betrayed Alex, yet no one, including Alex felt the family was betraying him by keeping in such close contact with her, and later by having his daughter spend so much time and get close with his ex-wife's child. That is really out of character of any human being, and something that can only happen in a romance story.
I have to agree with the Anon comment below on what seems to be the obvious moral to this story: I too guess that "love" conquers all, including deception, and if there is a child in the picture you are scum if you don't stay to help raise a child created by the bad decisions of two other people. And Jennie, by the end of the story, got everything she wanted. It just took longer, but she finally got it all. She got the baby (by another man), Alex, and the marraige she wanted. She even got setup for life by Alex's grandmother, so that the other deadbeat father could run off scott free without a care in his life about the child he never knew. But this is a romance story, and that's why I gave it 50%. And god as my witness I hit the 0 multiple times before I finally left it alone.
Because it's a romance story, I didn't go as hard as I thought. But let me say this. Something my mom told me years ago always stick with me in situations like this. My Mom always told me to be honest and she used this as an example. If someone walks up to you and ask for $10 and I give it to them. We both part as friend with no problem. But if someone just goes in my wallet when I'm not looking, takes the money, and when, or if, I find out later about it I'll always be wondering if something goes missing if they took it. This story had that. His wife wanted a child so bad she was willing to do what ever it took to get one. But because he loved her so much, he was willing to overlook the lies and deception she used to get what she wanted? In real life I would never have respect for someone willing to do that.
I have respect for men who date and/or marry someone with children. In those cases they are walking into situations where they know the score up front. Like someone asking for $10 and me giving it to them. But when someone tries to "trick and deceive" you into raising someone elses child, to me its like them going through your wallet without asking. And at the end of the day, it's the ex-wife (now soon to be the new wife again) who's plan it was to have another man impregnate her and have the husband raise her love child as his. That type of willing deception, even coming around full circle, doesn't do well for me.
But I'll make some allowences because its a romance story. >=)

Conflicted Not
Weakness or strength - on the surface the former but as you would have us believe the latter.
You sold it rather well but [isn't there always a but] the chances of this scenario actually occurring is hardly 1%.
From her position how could she respect someone who wants to help raise a bastard son conceived to spite his inabilities to be a father.
From his - her actions were coldly calculated and about as disrespectful as possible so she could cuck him and have him raise a bastard baby.
Romance was the stage but selling ice to Eskimo's shouldn't be this easy as far as a lot of the comments indicate.
Author - I strongly respect your talent and imagination but wonder at times if you respect my intelligence.
I hope you continue to write but please don't take on the challenge of selling the warm acceptance of no meaningful consequence from a totally disrespected cucked male - it begs a revisit to your credibility or lack of same regardless of being in Romance or L.W..
Romantic Not!
Risq made most of the points I would make so I will not repeat them. I would add the following observations:
................................... ..................... (1) Jeanie seems like a cartoon character - the ex-wife waiting for her chance at reconciliation. You describe her as this vibrant, sex-loving woman who likes to get wild. So while Alex was screwing Nicole, the hooker, which no doubt good ole Dad gave her the lowdown, what was Jeanie doing for fun? Jeanie just sits quietly in the back of the Church while her man marries Marci with her ready made family? Jeanie just waits by the phone for Alex to call her during his world tour? Jeanie in Part 1 does not jive with Jeanie in Part 2. .................................................
(2) What happened to Alex's self respect? Other than hang around his Dad Jeanie showed no real remorse for her actions. Her big regret was that fact that Alex found out about her scheme to have him raise her bastard. Even in the hospital she expected Alex to accept her child as his own. One could argue that by being next to his Dad was one way she could achieve her goal to have Alex raise her child.
.......................................... ..........
(3) You did an excellent job making the point by bringing Marci and Mandy in Alex's life that if he could accept Mandy as his daughter then he should accept Alex Jr. as well. The main problem is that most adults would let Hell freeze over than yeild to the obvious manipulations in this story. .................................................. .
Overall, this story struck me as a anti-Consequences story since Jeanie experiences no consequences for her betrayal to Alex.
anyone Notice Jennie NEVER apologized?
not one time. Go back and read chapter 1. In the confrontation scence she explains why she did and her shock that Alex could accept her reasons. In chapter 2 at the end she says I love a lot but so what? still not a single word of apology.
Not one time in 7 years
note to quibble
First, Celt, as you know (I hope) I admire your work & have for some years now. That being said, your characterization of Alex doesn't meld together in the end; and the same I feel is true for Jennie. Her actions of wilful & egregious betrayal, of deliberately getting pregnant by another man, & then trying to pass that deception off to Alex, is - to me at least - unforgiveable. And Alex's reaction to the initial discovery is exactly what any man, with even a modicum of backbone & self-respect would have done. I've always believed that you can't love anyone if you don't love & respect yourself first. Any man who would lie down & accept what Jennie had done is totally lacking in self-respect, and Alex's initial and continuing reaction reflected that Alex would not tolerate what Jennie had done. Yet, as Risq suspected & I anticipated, somehow, by the end of the story, somehow Jennie would be rehabilitated, and Alex would lose his backbone & his self-respect and reunite w/ Jennie. If you had allowed Marci to survive & his life w/ her to complete his happiness, that to me would have been a truly romantic story. What happened instead, strained my ability to have the "willing suspension of disbelief" necessary to appreciate the way you chose to end the story. Yet, in the end, it's your story, but the ending was not what I would call romantic, it was rather an apparent capitulation to what I consider the most egregious of all betrayals, that of getting pregnant by another man, & attempting to foist that bastard off on a loving and faithful husband. Just my hang-up, I guess.
Offensive mindless crap
Sorry celt but this story sucks moose balls.THREE things
really stick out.
First as I predicted Alex the pathetic loser never asked the BIG question. In Chapter 1 Jennie was out with her single promiscous girlfriend a LOT. Before she got pregnant did she fuck around?
I said the author would not deal with that KEY question
... and sure enough THECELT did not. It is critical b/c even the readers here in THIS feedback who think this is a good story make that assessment premised on the idea that Jennie was Soooooooo desperate she did not somehow intentionally engage is an affair or serial cheating.
Of course if she was fucking other men and just happened to get pregnant... Jennie coldy calculated that Alex's shock would stop him from asking further questions.
SECOND Alex's family deeply loathed and hated Alex. Having some sort of sneaky back channel communication to the cunt whore wife all these years...is just mind bogglingly offensive. How could his father and grand parents make themselves available to the whore wife after her horrible betrayal and deception of their own son?.
It sure was not done out of Love or respect of Alex.
This story reads as if theCelt cant follow his own story line. Alex's family seem to think Jennie had a one night drunk stand at the office party and that alex was over reacting and had no right to react harshly.
The last point was when this author has stupid wimp alex apologizing to Jennie for walking out the day Alex Jr was born. The "wife" goes out and fucks lots of men often... gets pregnant....lies to alex the twit... never apologizes... then holds the baby named after him to remind every days that his won wife thinks she is a pathetic piece of shit....
so Alex apologizes? Must be a UK thing
Disapointed
For the first time in a long time I am disapointed in a Celt story. This one just didn't hang together. The two chapters did not jibe. The 1st wife did not display remorse over her actions and with this plot that would be necessary for any type of reconciliation to occur. The change in the lead characters attitude comes with little or no reason and is a sea change from his earlier attitude. This one just does not work. Speed.
Pure Crap, author back to old style
Hated it. Pure wimpy man hating garbage. Alex is back with the same old cheating slut-whore he started with.
Well whoop-de-do! Once again we are led to believe that the world is so small that the only one to make him happy is the betrayer that he left in the first place. His father deserves several well placed kicks in the nuts for his part in this as well. Why would he care to entertain this slut who hurt his own son? Pure foolishness and crap!

Commentors predictable whines
Is there any chance that you bitter men could stop your whining about any story where some form of forgiveness happens? It is really getting old.
Role reversal?
Would Jennie let Alex back as her husband if he'd went off and had a baby with another woman durng their marriage? I can't immagine any woman degrading herself so. Even if the guy had big bucks, she'd be able to divorce him and take him to the cleaners. Also, once again 15 or so IMMEDIATE 100's for this author and THEN the general public begins to pick apart the failings in this this story.

Amniocentesis isn't natural either
Jennie's excuse for having sex with another man made no sense. There is a lot of artificial in most pregnancies in developed countries -- certainly an amniocentesis is artificial. She never addressed her lack of respect, her contempt for her husband. Then she shows up uninvited for the wedding and sits on the grooms side!
Time can heal some wounds, but it will not mend a relationship unless there is ongoing dialog. You don't go into a marriage just because your children are friends and have a common babysitter.
I can understand his father; estranged from his son he is happy to have Alex jr over. The story never makes clear when/if the estrangement ends.
Perhaps Alex did talk enough with his dad to reforge their bonds, but wouldn't this dialog have mentioned Alex jr? Without showing some of this dialog the story seems to be unconnected vignettes.
to answer the last wonderer
jennie did not have to "justify", per the "thinking" of either her or the good author.
not only alex thinks it not necessary, he actually apologizes to her, for running away at the hospital.
unlike some, i have nothing against reconciliation, or even reconciliation-at-all-cost. i simply want the AUTHOR, the creator, to pitch in some dialogues (or monologues) that is remotely intelligent, that's all. even FORREST GUMP has some deep, simple but deep, things to say.
the thing is, Forrest Gump would NOT have run away from Jennie! and THAT WOULD BE JUST FINE with me, too. in fact, more than fine. that, to me, truly proves the point that you can truly only look at the brigth side of things.
Forrest Gump may be said to be dumb, simple-minded, etc by some; but to me he epitomized a truly good person without jealousy of any type. if you act badly, deceitfully, around him, it is YOU who look dumb, not him! because he would just smile and hug you and love you, help you in any way he could NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO... you can NOT judge someone like that... you can't say he's simpleton, pure and simple, because he has other faculties like loyalty to friends [not willing to leave behind an injured comrade in the battle field, is true loyalty], love, friendliness, respect, etc.
if Alex had simply acted more like some Forrest Gump --- and said, "Jennie, I love you no matter what you do. You can have any one's child, and I will love him or her just like my own. I will love you no matter what you do to me. Even if you go away from me, I would still love you" ---- THEN, hey, I would no problem with the premise of this story.
but, no, the AUTHOR introduced a person who DEALS WITH jealousy as part of his inner core, and he says he can not stand disloyal, deceitful women, especially if they are his wife, someone he's to trust with his life.... but you know what?, the author just went free-style dancing! he simply abandons such story motifs, ingredients, what-not. he cares that NEITHER of his characters, Jennie or Alex, care to bring up those fundamental points that drove them apart in the first place.
the author just gives both Alex and Jennie some white-noise amnesia and have Alex apologize to Jennie for his cowardice behavior and acts at the hospital, and have Jennies say, "It is understandable you did that," and THAT'S IT?
DOES that mean if Jennie should want another biological child, again, it is OKAY for her and Alex won't act like a kid like the first time again? you can't just say "They dont' want to have another biological child," since that did not answer the question as to whether or not it WOULD BE OKAY, for Jennie to pick another stranger, or the same one, and have sex with him again for procreation purposes.
I know, it is only a silly story. I don't know why stupid people need to remind OTHERS that these are stories, only stories. We are NOT talking about, we are not reading real life, events, so it is stupid to remind others that these are just stories.
but even in stories, good and meaningful stories, the CREATOR gives his creatures/characters meaningful dialogues --- whether they are OF MICE AND MEN types of stories and characters or of THE REPUBLIC types of stories and characters and dialogues... within EACH story, each genre, once the authors introduces some idea, motif, theme, characterization, it needs to be followed through, FOR THE READERS, with some meaning, some explanations,,,
,,, you can't just introduce some major feature/theme like JEALOUSY driving people apart and THEN pretend, at the end, it somehow disappeared and everyone just hugs everyone else and sing 12th Days of Christmas songs and jealousy ceased to become a part of these people/characters lives!
it don't happen like that! LOL
Bullshit
You wimped out. Was this piss-poor tripe written by thecelt or the queer that calls herself ohio or the shit-for-brains Baaazzzeee? This is thecelt at his worse, I hope.
Now I expect all you good little ass kissers to overrate this crap and to tell thecelt how great the story is and how he is wonderful so that he will reciprocate on your next submission.
Good story
I always enjoy reading your stories. I'm a sucker for a happy ending and will continue to read your stuff, no matter what all these "anonymous" readers might say.
Pathetic...
...little wimp. What a disturbingly stupid, pathetic, little fuck.
Meets All Criteria: Superb
Celt, you are the best. This is a beautiful story from every perspective. Plot, theme, execution -- plus insights into the human condition -- combine to make an unforgettable reading experience. By the standards of Literotica, this is a masterpiece.

Right here goes.....
Here is the story as I see it desperate wife who wan'ts kids goes out and gets fucked once if we trust the author(which I do) finds she is pregnant at the very least even though she did not enjoy the sex it was probably better than having somthing metal or plastic shoved up her cunt while being strapped to a hospital bed with her legs spread to the point of hurting her.(I know this because my wife and I tried it this way) So she thinks okay I won't lose my husband by telling him about it then when she finds out he knows she tries to explain why she did it when the husband quite rightly is upset about it but think for one second the husband dearly loves his wife and she makes one mistake in judgement haven't we all made that mistake at one time or the other so the husband gets his way and leaves the wife knowing full well that he still loves her and that she loves him . so a few years pass he falls in love again to a hooker (so that was his mistake) then falls in love with someone who has a child NOT his child unfortunatly wife number 2 dies now we get to the important bit HE goes off to have a shag fest but these people mean nothing to him because he is still in love with his first wife so he corrects his mistakes by calling her and getting married again happy everafter.
That is the story as I see it with the information that the celt gives us the readers nowhere does it say "and jennie turned in to a slut and for seven years had sex with a 1000 men" don't you think if she had the father would have stopped her seeing as the father had a vestive interest in seeing his son happy. so as I see it the husband did have a lot to apologise about mainly because he was getting all the sex he needed and she was getting litte or none.
I know I'm just starting out in writing but I would love to write a story like this . Perhaps everyone who read this story thought it was loving wives where the so called loving wife does turn in to a slut normally because the husband lets her. Perhaps they should read those stories in stead of a really good romantic love conquers all story.
great story
DOING OTHER THINGS DOES NOT COUNT...
I have to agree with Gengishknan and others who in different words expressed the similar notion that there was an inexplicable break between the characteristics of the husband as presented at the beginning and his transformation at the end. For sure, people change, but it has to be shown.
I have to be honest. Even if you tried it would have been a hard sale. The reason? The very circumstances you created at the start. The blatant contempt and betrayal by the wife combined with his gut reaction pretty much put the conditions of their separation at the extreme end of the dial of known to be most likely irreversible circumstances for divorced /separated couples.
Therefore to then make a 180 degree reversal should consume a lot of plot material convincingly poured into the story first. But It just did not happen! Time alone, and 'doing other things’ don’t count IMO as transformative as you figure in this kind of extreme circumstances.
I said this on part one and I repeat.
the exwife is a stupid idiot that should not have kids. She intentionally betrayed her husband and her marriage. Went out and had bareback sex with a stranger and could have gotten AIDS just as easily as Pg. She has stolen from her child half of his genetic and medical history Hzve her move in as a sex toy great, seems dad already did, marry her, hell no!
What The Hell Is Wrong With Some of YOU People
Ok where to start!
(A)Great Story Line-
(B) Realistic
(C) Great Ending
(D) Writer is one of the best on this site-IF NOT THE BEST!!
All you cynical complainers need to lighten up!-Christ it's a only a story!!!--OR if you feel you could do better --DO IT!!!!!
To be honest
I thought Alex's dad was the father. I also thought Rick had set up Alex with Nicole as a way to get at his money. I also thought Alex's family liked Jennie way too much based on her conduct. I thought Alex was blind to his Dad's obvious involvement with Jennie. So what do I know?
The only thing obvious is that Jennie showed utter contempt for Alex and her marriage and did not deserve 'Grandma's' affection or bequest.
Unlike the detractors...
who appear to be mysogenists of the highest order, I found this story to be well written and touching. People do not always change but their perspective on life does. Don't let the wife hating minority put you off dear author - keep up the good work.
are you people retarded?
its not about hating the wife, its about being realistic and a fucking man. the thought of artificial insemination made her ill but banging a man in the backseat of his car bareback is okay? knowing how her husband would react? also, what wrote thecelt wrote, he implied that she held "a touch of contempt" for him, prob because he couldnt get her preggers. like koklore said, even if it was possible, you need a damn convincing plotline for john to even begin to forgive her. adoption is one thing-ppl go in knowing what they are getting- but to go out and seduce a stranger just to get preggers is not something a couple could survive, even if they spent 6-7 yrs apart. i cant believe his dad and grandparents all talked and like his ex after what she did and the grandma even gave her money! im sorry, but that was pathetic, unrealistic, and pretty fucked up on everyones part.
What About Nichole
Jennie never says she is sorry for her actions and never shows any understanding of how she had hurt Alex. The author rewards her by letting her have her way by the end of the story. In contrast, Nichole, who was much more of a victim than Jennie ever was, is cast aside unforgiven, while Jennie scoots home scot free. Seems to me the wrong woman was allowed to come out smelling like a rose!
So, his whole family betrays him
and he ends up okay with it and takes the slut back along with her bastard kid. What a WIMP.
Are ANY of the authors "heros" MEN?
The cheating bitch deserved to die...
She SAYS she only fucked one other guy but how can anyone trust her? Then his own father, grandfather and grandmother decide they know best and befriend her and keep her in their family circle.
Talk about bad luck! The correct ending was for him to take his daughter and move away and leave no forwarding address. He certainly can't trust his father or his faithless ex-wife.
I wouldn't be surprised if his father was also the sperm donor and his ex-wife's ongoing lover.
That's the problem with trust. Once it's lost it's nearly impossible to restore.
When it's not you...
it's easy to kick the woman or man you love to the curb. Harry is clueless about the stress and strain of a couple trying to have a baby. Jennie made a very bad and stupid decision. That doesn't make her a cheating cunt.
And what is this idiocracy where half the assholes who comments think that the perpetrator of any act MUST immediately confess at the risk of ending a marriage and if they don't they are cheating cunts. I do lot's of shit my wife might approve of but, while I might not deny it if she asks, I don't knock myself out making a list to go over with her at supper. It's called keeping the peace. Sometimes that attutude is not good but let's not piss on our own cornflakes.
Of course Alex and Jennie got back together. What do you expect in a story written for entertainment. Without a unique and surprise twist, what's the fucking point?
I'm not big on reconciliation, but...
I think it was the right thing in this story.
Five Stars from me.
So, First Grandma betrays him by giving the cheating slut whore money so she can hover around him, slowly circling like a vulture, then his DAD does the same thing.
Dad facilitates her presence in his and his daughters life giving her access to his heart. What betrayal. With family like this he needs to flee.
It would seem that your protagonist is a genetic retard who just can't do the right thing.
