This is Great

I should give it Five Stars. It's a very literate and cerebral story.
The author obviously took pains to write out his outline, and took time to sketch out all of the parts.
Just a couple of things that I personally did not like, the homosexual interlude with Xathan the Captain's wife's lover. I thought that was pointless, in fact the whole Captain's wife interlude was rather pointless. He was there as an excuse for the wife to get some sex from her lover?

The other annoying thing is that for someone who I believe is quite read, the author's spelling mistakes are confounding.
To refer to a large building that holds spaceships (as they now hold airplanes) as hangers (things to put clothes on), instead of HANGARS?
