Pretty racy writing for a bible thumper, hope you don't have to go to hell or anything. Lacked plot (ya know boy gets girl, boy looses girl, boy gets girl back again) but good sex and dramatic touch with ex-wife being dead, rather than a cheating slut who ran off with a large dicked, black, satanic, drug dealer.

Really enjoyed this story. You are up there among the best in Literotica as a writer concerned with character, story line, and not just with obscenity.

A couple of minor points: Watch the occasional mis-use of "like" -- although I suppose in fiction one should not care too much about proper usage; and perhaps the word "funk" is not what should have been used to describe Kristi's mood at one point.

A very good romance story

This was the best of your stories to me. I like your writing but this was just great. It touched me as a good romance but it means more to me as I have gone through all the emotions on a personal basis. You have a wonderful way of bring the story into my minds eye by transporting me to the events. As I said before I have lived these feelings and know the sadness along with the fear of starting over again. It is funny how a man can be scared of sex with someone new after so long a time with just one person, as it is like being 20 again and trying to date is really tough to get into the GAME again. It is a great and scary feeling when you realize your equipment still works and that first woman stirs those feelings you wondered if it would ever want to work again. Hey, tenting your pants the first time after so long brings a smile to you. You know life will go on for maybe the first time. Enough of my dribble, just thank you for the wonderful fantasy and great effort.PT

With all tha mediocre stuff I've seen here recently it's really refreshing to see a work from a really talented author. No incest, kinky bondage, or guys getting off watching their wives with somebody else. I had almost given up on this site. Believe me, you are a treat for sore eyes.

nice,well-paced story of love lost and love found. only slight quibble was how a sports editor finds vacation time to go hunting in november, right in the middle of football season. still, a 5-star story all the way.
