It could be a very good tale but it's hard to tell since the chapters are so short. Please consider longer chapters.

I can't say I am crazy about this story, so far,but your "Telltale Signs" was one of the best stories I've read on this site, so I assume this will improve as you go on. Keep on writing.

still. the fact that the main character seems so fuzzy "up there", being so naive, showing poor judgement and wining over it rather than learning from his mistakes, takes away quite a bit from the reading experience. I just hope his learning curve will be more steep in the following chapters...
