Thank you so much for taking time & writing this story. Melissa's acceptance in a small way reminded me of my own best friend's reaction. when I was about 21, I came out to my best friend, Amy, (common name, lol.) as a lesbian. She hugged me, told me I was still her 'sister' (we're that close) & then grabbed me hand & insisted I run down the street with her. While running, she kept yelling 'I LOVE YOU NICKI' loudly. xD
At 15 though, 6 or 7 years before that, I had a bad experience. I was just coming into my thoughts & thought I was bisexual. I told a school friend of mine, Nadine, that I liked girls also. She asked me to 'not like them any more.' When I told her I couldn't just turn my feelings off like a faucet, she told me I was a 'dirty, disgusting, dyke' & never spoke to me again. I closed up for years after that, not even realizing I was a lesbian until I was 19/20 years old.

The times I cried

I cried all trough this story. It was heart touching and comforting and ..... they are circumstance where they are no words for the emotion and this one of them. I guess is because I can relate, because I am both of the girls in love.

Reading the story I can actually imagine it like watching a movie. Scary I know. But loved the series. But the end makes me wish there was more. Being locked out on a balcony???!!! Sounds like my luck.
