Sorry, you left me hanging.

I missed something. There on earth but whats going on. Im not clear on the deal that was made etc. Is there a second chapter? Keep writing.

Maybe too subtle?

To the last comment: Well, they were doing genetic experimenting on earth with lizards (depicting an existing lizard found in the Down Under, maybe (?), and the experiment got away from them and ruined the balance and flip flopped the world so that the lizards grew in size and took over. Maybe more could have been done with the importance of the children, but it's a good Earth Day entry story on theme--if I've understood it correctly.
