but painful to read. I'm so sorry you and your family are experiencing this. I'll continue to pray that your daughter's suffering ceases and she returns to good health.
I hope this is not your reality, but the depth of this piece, I fear, tells me that it is. For that I am truly sorry and hope the best for you and your family. The emotions is palpable, of course, but it is so powerful that you've brought your reader into the room with you and have commanded them to stand bedside vigil alongside you. These are not carefully selected words, they are emotion pouring from the heart directly into the inkwell and spilling out on the page. Anyone who has ever faced a loved one being in this position will empathize and feel this to their core ... anyone who hasn't faced this situation will empathize and feel this to their core ... who could not? This piece has touched me greatly.
You put into words the feelings of so many dealing with a friend/family member in the hospital.
