Is there a reason you didn't give this story a trigger warning? It ends with a fate WORSE than DEATH for the protagonist, something he definitely didn't deserve for what he did. And due to my complex-PTSD and hyperempathy, you gave me a panic attack and flashback. Why did you not think to properly warn about this or tag it?
