Wonderful Piece of Writing

Clearly you have skill for imagery the next step is to let us know about who the characters are. Besides that you just need to make it longer. This is a vignette more than anything else.

Well written, but...

...too short to judge your storytelling ability. This would be an excellent portion of a longer story. Keep writing!
