Not so offhand

The writing has such a light touch that it took me more than half the poem to realize what a serious theme it has. Is the "h" is "hear" a typo? Overall well written and a very gentle, light approach to a subject that could have been very ponderous.

"Hear" was a mistake

Yes, it was supposed to be "ear" rather than "hear." I've emailed Literotica to try to find out if there is any way I can edit a piece after it's up but have so far received no reply. :/
