Great that you gave Brandon's torture background. It brings insight to the anger he still carries and tries to control daily. He recognizes the lust he has for her but right now he has too much respect for her father to dishonor him. Hopefully, you already wrote the second chapter and it was submitted. Just great!

Cannot wait for the next story. I liked the background and the set up. Brandon's background I especially thought was good, especially as a reason for why he's trying to avoid Sienna. Hmmm this story is definitely going to fantastic.

Oh, damn! I hate it that you didn't warn us that this was a first chapter of more to follow. It's great writing. (Okay some homonym errors, and near-homonyms {"shutter" and "shudder" are not the same word!}, but overall, a delightful story. Personally, I could take or leave the interracial aspect, but in this case, it makes a nice touch. Regardless, it's looking like a beautiful love story; I'm looking forward to the continuation. Please post ch#2 soon.

Not necessarily. The divorce rate for BM/BW couples is even higher than the divorce rate for WM/WW couples. But it's not just a "claim" that the divorce rate for WM/BW couples is half that of WM/WW couples. It's a fact.

As for your question, it would be equally appropriate to ask if white men make the best husbands for black women. Based on divorce statistics, the answer could easily be yes, either way.

The WM/BW marriage rate is going up fairly rapidly, by the way.

good story, but you don't enlist for the seal program, you enlist in the navy and serve for a period in the regular navy and then you can volunteer for seal training

However, the one thing that makes me stop is the gratuitous cursing out of nowhere, especially toward Sienna after she got to his house. Seemed incongruous since Brandon respected her dad so much.

That said, I like the backstory of how Brandon got started and how the LT shaped him up. The history of Sienna's crush on him is compelling. I have to say I was expecting another page, but actually your ending for Ch. 1 was a better spot than I thought. I'm looking forward to Ch. 2. :)

I’m so sorry I’m positive it’s a good series but I couldn’t get past the fact that she’s so incredibly young. In the laws eyes yes she’s ‘legal’ but something just never felt right about older men wanting to have sex with younger women and waiting until they’re 18. Kinda makes me sick to my stomach. But then again this is a fetish for A LOT of people have and the oversexualizion of black womens bodies has always been a thing I have come to expect.

I love stories with younger black women, older white men. They are so few and far between. But you work it with every story!
