Nice start!

I enjoy these kinds of stories. As the other poster pointed out, this beginning has been used numerous times... woman in the woods is being watched by a wolf who happens to be a werewolf and the love of her life. Quite a few of those stories also have abused/vulnerable women opening up to the wolf in a way they couldn't open up to a human and starting their emotional healing that way. It will be interesting to see where you take the story and how you make this storyline your own. I'm looking forward to it!

A good beginning..

to a good story. You can tell right away that the wolf has to be a shape shifter because all normal wolves have amber eyes. I should know because I use to raise them. I hope you make this into a series. Wolfmann

Captivating story

I enjoyed this chapter and look forward to more. Flashbacks to some of pain she experienced with Jack serve to highlight her strengths and vulnerabilities. The reclaiming of her rights to sensually connect with her own body and needs was poignant. It felt like a 'What's Love Go To Do with it' moment when Tina T hit back at Ike!

I love the initial connection with the 'Wolf'

I'm hooked and can't wait to see where you take these characters.

Very cool although not sure I would close the door and trap him inside with me. It will be interesting to see where this will go. I hope future chapters are longer. Good start so far

But nothing fantastic. And I don't just mean toric, I mean with something so short you have got to pack in more to grab the reader. The end felt like it was rushed, or maybe truncated.
I'll ck out ch2 and hope for more.
