Oh no,

Am I wrong if I laughed? Maybe cicadas think the same when they hit the windshiled during love bug season. I didn't see your poem this morning or I would've mentioned it in the new review poems. Good that today's reviewer caught it.

i always enjoy your writing

brilliant. two slight hickups in the reading for me

'Is she political or, even, vote?'

how about 'is she political or, even, a voter?'

the second,

'and lovelorn spatter all about the impact point'

i wonder if 'splatter' should be plural...?

i love the impact of the beginning and love the 'voice' this poem carries. thanks for sharing.

Best theory I've read yet on the whole falling in love thing.

Yep

That about sums it up. Well said, beautifully said. I've been arguing with a friend for weeks who is trying to treat her current state of falling in love like a financial report with checks and balances. Splat.
