In the hubbub of your tale, we are left without a clear understanding of how all the characters were situated. Yes, we know that Mary Peasbody is now Lady Ashfordly, and that Hermione, the former Lady Ashfordly, is now Madam and manager of the new Lord Ashfordly's bordello. We know that Katherine Ashfordly is affianced to Colonel Hogarth of the militia, and that Mary's half sister Hope will henceforth be her companion (and possibly marry an officer). But what about Mary's half-sister Hope and her cousin by marriage Rebekah? Will they continue to be servants in Hermione's brothel, or will she allow them to become whores? Agnes Bradbury is to be Mrs. Flemming, wife of James, who is now the lord's agent. What , then, will become of her recently widowed mother, whose dishonest husband cooked the late Lord Ashfordly's books? What will be the fate of the Rev. Mr. Peasbody and Mrs. Peasbody, who stole money from the parish together? Another chapter that makes all of this perfectly clear would enhance your tale.
