Have you ever read "The Haunting of Hill House" by Sherry Jackson? One would think that one might glean more ideas for essays from it than just analyzing the first movie made from that very intriguing and frightening book. I have always felt that this first movie was much better presented and representative of the book than the 2nd movie which was done in the mid to late 90's. They totally changed the whole concept and it was very disappointing. But that is the way of Hollywood, isn't it? I did like your essay even though I might not necessarily agree with it. But too each their own. It is a good thoughtful work as is all your essays. keep it up.
