The whole tone of this story is nasty, turning sex into a weapon, presumed affection into dumb lust. The Japanese element is a poorly used gimmick.

Great story But if Jake grew up on the street and went from one foster home to another, how did he manage to get to college? 22

Not being familiar with any previous episodes, it was a bit too hard to grasp the former relationship between the two men. I could not understand where Jake's problem lay in his relation to Kei, or what Kei had done to hurt him.

Anyway, this episode (or chapter) was very well written. Best wishes for future writing.
