A couple of comments: in a series of people in which the speaker is included, the speaker is last. Example: "....my brother and I..."

Which leads to correct form of personal pronoun: to help determine whether you're using correct form, add the missing or unspoken verb., or remove other participants......

E.g. is "I " or "me" correct? "He gave it to Dave and me"/"He gave it to Dave and I"

Remove "...Dave and...." then read aloud & you will find the first is correct.
