Of course you are free to write any kind of story you want. But I would have enjoyed it a lot more if you had put some effort into it.
Poor grammar and punctuation. Disjointed plot lines.
Keep trying though.

A Bit Unbelievable

But a very enjoyable read. Other comments point out some valid issues, but in the end, the only thing missing for me was a description of the assholes' faces when they read the letter.

When my similar situation went down, I was lucky to have a buddy, an NFL linebacker, nearby. Between his tackling me and six more of my friends piling on, my wife and her bragging, married lover were able to escape and I avoided life in prison. Your solution and outcome were so much better than my own. Thanks.

Revenge at its best

Plain and simple. The wife and her lover were played like a classical violin composition. In the end to the winners go the spoils. I like it.

Now THAT is how you open up a big old can of WHOOP ASS on cheating spouses. Very clever, very funny. The only hiccup - they did leave the letter admitting what they did. The DA might be looking for them.

Nothing illegal here. Wifey and Asshole signed the papers. Shit happened. Hubby and Asshole's Wifey live happily ever after. The DA doesn't have a case to press charges. Besides, if Hubby and New Wifey hit a non-extradition country, then that's that.

But that's beside the point. This is FICTION, as in FANTASY, and a very well told tale of Payback. :)

I'm a bit surprised that soulspice faved this one, though. He hates it when Hubby ends up with Asshole's Wifey. LOL

Evidently I have read this before because it was already in favorites.

I cannot think of any more just retribution to Becky and whatever her lover is named. Absolutely perfect! Bad enough that she fucked around on him, she was openly insulting when she did not need to be. I know it is just a story but let this be an example to cocky wives (or husbands) who add insult to injury by the way they leave their husbands or wives. Great story.

It is less parody and satire than FTDS last story, but it is similar humorous.

entertaining premise

but sooooo many holes in the story it was distracting.
.
i.e. if he left the letter (including the key to the storage facility) before they left, how did he know the credit limit was so low and that they had maxed out the first four cards after only a few days into the trip to Europe they had not yet taken?
and so on, and so forth.
oh well. as I said it was a fun read if you just let yourself follow to the punch line(s)

Well written story, forgivable that some of the information about the finances of the "bull" was out of sequence. Hey, it's a fantasy story. I always like to read the comments, they are almost as good as the story for entertainment. The law doesn't chase people down for legal stuff here anymore than it does in real life.

Liked the reference to "Starship Troopers" in the comments, too. Very good.

I wonder if the cheaters really torment the cheated in the work place, I worked in an all male environment and that would have gotten you "hose racked" in a second. (that's not a very pleasant experience)

Perhaps better than a letter that leaves a paper trail hire an actor to tell her in person.
The actor is merely speaking lines from a script as rehearsed, without knowledge of whether it really happened.
You might even be able to get her reaction on video.

Very easy to find an out of work/wannabe actor.

The cheaters certainly got what they deserved. This was a good fictional story. In reality the ending might have played out differently. Even though they were cheating, in a divorce they would have gotten something - maybe even a 50/50 split. He should never have written the letter admitting what he had done. No Judge would have been happy with his actions. Fun read none the less.

not up to your usual standards

sometimes a letter is fine but when it details malicious acts, it may be possible to use it as evidence to get relief through the courts, e.g. when the vengeful duo go on a spending spree on their respective spouse's credit cards. maybe a lawyer would know more and perhaps that might not fly everywhere, but the principle stands - you should never write out in a letter something that could be used against you
