I have traveled through life meeting many people through my profession. To those that cast stones or cannot imagine how this story speaks to a real life possibility I have to put you in your place. There are occasions where two peoples paths cross and the connection/attraction/fascination, along with their lifes circumstance, happens without a single attempt to make it so. As it has happened to me a few times I can attest to that even if I cannot begin to explain why. In all but one situation the dance was subtle, interesting, exciting and in it's own way fulfilling but no lines of impropriety were crossed. At least not physically. One can never be sure how emotionally connected the other was nor can you know for certain how I might have played in their fantasies. In the one instance of total consumation I can say the height imagined before anything occured was so beyond anything I might have expected, ditto for them too, that I can only wonder how the others might have played out. Excellent story and save for the internet reference it had me believing this did happen. Also, even though you had a small portion of sexual interaction it was sensual as a whole just the same.

This story was really sweet and I totally get it: These people needed one another to complete themselves and realize what was really important and to fix it in their lives. They've become better people because of it. Yes, it's wrong to cheat but in this case it was necessary. Get over it Anonymous...

Some comments are funny!
I don't like cheaters, but for some reason, I cannot condemn these two people. I have read some comments that call the woman aslut. Well sex outside of marriage is as serious in Christianity as adultery. How many women marry as virgins these days? That would make them sluts by one commentors statement. Also many people think they are marriage free when separated but not divorced. I don't agree with that, but legal separations have led to more adultery than any other circumstance.
In the end it is only a story that sounds like it might be based on truth. It was well written and well thought out.
Either it was being told by a guy from the future or there is a loop hole in time for DNA testing and regular internet in hotel rooms - 30 years ago - either way the story worked for me on the basic level - details ignored.

The Amish have sluts also. Must be if your job takes you on the road, it's OK to fuck other women as long as their husbands and your wife don't find out.

a nice little story
interesting it being based on the Amish...a least they stick by their beliefs and principles...but the young are wanting to get out there and enjoy the things teens love...just hope it does not destroy their life....the rest of us could learn something from them....at least he made Sharon happy by giving her another baby....and he realised family was more important....something many others could learn from...."Family is Everything"....
