Praising the Maury Show

I don't understand...

what it is you are even trying to say. The closest you come to "praise" is to say that it's nice of him to give "free" DNA tests to those who come on the show. Frankly, I detest Maury, even more than Jerry Springer, because at least Springer, when it's not a flat-out staged event, involved adults knowingly making the choice to go embarass themselves about stupid crap. Maury, whether he has any honest feelings on his show or not, uses children and actual, true issues, personal issues that are hard to discuss with ANYONE, and turns them into a publical spectacle for cash. If you feel that's not true, then WHY the showmanship? He could easily reveal at least 4-5 DNA tests in a show, while still giving some support and some ideas to the people. Instead he focuses on one or two, so he can draw out all their emotions, see every side of it, etc. WHY does he show the kid and then let the mom and dad fight for 5 minutes over whether the kid looks related or not? It's not like the DNA test requires it. No, he does it to get people into it and to turn this personal problem of a family into a public drama. It's pretty damn low.
