If the roles were reversed I would hope the wife would dump the asshole or at least make him earn her forgiveness bigtime unlike this story where the wife got off way to easy imho. As can be see by the scoring in the LW section, readers like the hero's in the story to come out on top in these stories just like with movies and tv shows where the audience root for the villains to lose. The sex of the hero doesn't matter imho.

Did you guys miss the point where this little play his wife was in had been going on for quite a while? Wasn't just spur of the moment. If she hadn't been complicit she would have told hubby or at least stopped the game. She had every intention of going ahead "balls to the wall" with the guy at work.
