Good story. :) I like a happy ending. I'd say the only issue is that things are moving so fast. I think you could have built up a lot more tension between Danny and Jake, and Jess when she was captured by Clark, etc. I'm looking forward to a a sequel. One for Jake, perhaps, where he realizes he can't control everything. :)

I just found your work and thought, why not, and surprise, I Love It! Read all of both stories in one sitting. And as to a sequel, personally, I think you should do two so Jake and Cal can both have a story, but Jake is a must. Obviously more to learn about his trust issues and this girl Caitlin. I mean, we have to give reason to him being a total asshole right? Who threatens a pregnant girl with knife, really? Anyway, Love It. Keep up the good work.
