I don't know if this is a genre or not, but this is the kind of poetry that stays with me. We can talk alot about technicalities in composition, imagery, this or that which is in vogue among poets, but the story gets lost in commentary all too often. There are, of course, worthy stories, never fully appreciated because of their improper expression, but that doesn't apply here, nor in your many submissions. We certainly can find a new twist of a word or phrase with every poem, but as I said, this stays with me.
