I don't often comment on stories but I stumbled on this author and was struck by his approach to this story. This was not an indulgent swipe at this life but I thought a great slant on it. A friend is an animal trainer and deals with dogs who have had appalling lives and this rang a bell to some of the apparent 'violent' methods she has to use (very effectively)!!
I love your other stories as well. You have, to me, a brilliant & humourous take on life. Keep writing!!

WOW
WOW is really all I've got. This is the BEST series I've EVER read!
Well written and complicated story. I am not much into the multiple personality being worked out, but I do like he submission. I particularly enjoy her piss drinking.
No matter how many times I read this story, this is the fourth time,
I am amazed at how good it is. I have read it this time on my phone
And was able to give it 5 stars again!
I would enjoy reading another story somewhat along these lines. A
very interesting approach to the very real problem of cutting.

good plot
This was one of the better plot lines. Nice to know that others believe the it is about more then pain
I don't often come to this section (pun perhaps intended :p) but the description on your story list intrigued me. So...
It's an uncomfortable read, but I expected it to be. Your writing was brutal and direct through out, giving Mary a believable character instead of a romanticised caricature of a woman lost to reason. She fought hard against redemption rather than magically transforming as if in twisted fairy tale.
As the author note indicates, this subject is hard to write about and harder to write about authentically. I think you nailed it though (again, pun maybe intended).
I think, if nothing else, this story reminds us of how far people are willing to go in order to save someone they really care about.
