.. I like your most of your stories but the ending for this tale was "very weak" to say the least! Having Ann "move away" with no other consequences ( HIV, Parents cutting her out of their lives in public permanently, posting the dvd/pictures of the WHORE to all of her friends, fellow workers, and friends while she was present ) would have been much more appropriate. A SLUT like Ann who is not taught a lesson will only justify what she did to herself and then do the same thing to some other poor guy down the road. This is "revenge"? No, they're the actions of an asshole, because only a total asshole uses the children in a relationship as a weapon like that. It's punishing not the guilty parties, but the innocents, and that shit is never right.
Because of this your character is completely unlikeable and undeserving of any satisfaction in revenge that he got, because he's worse than his whore of a wife. She didn't choose his actions he did.
It's a good story if it's meant to illustrate that there are boundaries that should not be crossed, but I get the feeling that's not the case.
I really can understand why people cheat. Accidents happen. Sometimes you fall in love with someone else. Your partner is emasculating, or abusive, demeaning. Whatever. We humans are fallible, that's for sure.
But cheating the way Ann and Nick cheated is contemptible. Sue was better off without him and nowhere in the story does it say that she was left impoverished. That her daughter was left fatherless is Nick's own fault.
The husband in the story has every right, IMHO, to do what he did. It was never going to end well anyways so he, the reliable, stable, partner has custody.

However I agree with the comment that procedes mine that the ending was rushed especially when the punishment phase started. Also, I think it would have been a much better story if there was a separate section at the end written by the wife.
Then she could explain in detail how she was seduced by Nick (as he had done over and over to other married women) why she feel for her role as a lieing, cheating married slut for over a year. Also why she didn't break it off and how was it possible that she had not caught on to her role in Nick's eyes which was one of many sluts.
Importantly why she allowed Nick to be consistently abusive to her and degrade her.
In the story as written the reader comes away knowing virtually nothing about Ann's why for what she did. She must have had very srong compelling reason to engage in actions for a year that when found out would destroy two marriages and break up two families. Looking at this latter statement to a sane observer ths abusive sex by a sexual predator couldn't have come anywhere near justifying her actions and choices.
When one balances illicit sex against the love of a husband and children, plus loss of employment and disgust of friends and family a bunch of orgasms just doesn't begin to measure up. As Ann sits in her lonely apartment segregated from everyone she once loved do you think that thoughts of ass fucking, pussy stretching and being constantly bossed around in her mind. Nope.
Remarkably, this story departed dramatically from one other story of yours that I read in that there is no redemption. For example: what if Ann's husband simply manned up and confronted her the first time he came to the knowledge of this affair? What would Ann's reactions have been. Her husband seemed motivated to spice things up even then she wandered back to her affair with a two week respite. I believe people are people some can be on course for the longest of times and suddenly stray off and with a little coaching be brought back into the folds. Ann was presented as a loyal wife til this affair with Nick. A normal husband would try to obtain information from his spouse that he professes to love at any cost to save what they had. Relationships are very fluid and they have challenges lying and cheating are usually catastrophic. Why hadn't any of Ann's friends try to reach out to dissuade her errant behavior. The story was cryptic in rushing to judgment without examination of Ann's humanity and thought process and social connections and interactions. The type of person Ann is was at the crucible of the story. The information was cryptic at best. I rated this story 4 stars which was generous. The revenge was rushed and incomplete. In publicly held jobs there are codes of conduct and policies and procedures which this story clearly shows a violation of morals code violations etcetera. The revenge should've /could've included lawsuits against the school and the principal for morals code violations and alienation of affection. Also, when someone is violating the love of your life why would you consider the size of the man as mentioned in the husband's thoughts outside the principal's house the first night of discovery. An enraged man could take on any ten men the size of that principal, I can personally vouch for that tidbit. The story had judgments made by the author that could arguably been off base or not synched with the emotion of the moment. Although, the author was dogmatic I just disagree with the hypothesis.

Since infidelity doesn't count for much in the Court system these days, she was going to get primary custody and the right to live in the house until the youngest kid got to college. And getting her fired might have left him paying not only child support but alimony too. (Got to love the court system in this country). But I like your ending, albeit an implausible one.
