nothing about the use of saddle soap?

i would think saddle soap would be one of the main conditioners of leather.

my thoughts

linseed oil is for wood. Use only pure neatsfoot oil not neatsfoot oil compound on your leather.

Saddle soap will strip off the dirt and grime but also takes off the top layer of oil. Thats why you must condition your leather after cleaning to replace the oils you stripped off.
