Enjoyed the 1st Chapter
Thanks -- I'm feeling Lorie is going to get screwed in this story (and not in a good way either) and I'm against Anne even before meeting her (lol) so the upcoming chapters will be interesting. Note: I didn't read Grey Dove so not to soil this story. Lakergirl

I don't think Miss Lorraine will get screwed badly. Though she may have some feelings toward Glenn, it was stated in the beginning that she was too set in her ways to change, even for him. I'm thinking she and Glenn are more like friends with benefits. She'd like to see him happy, all the while knowing it may not be her to make him happy. And she doesn't seem at all bitter about Anne. As a matter of fact, she seems to be more like pushing Glenn towards the idea of marrying Anne.
I've read Gray Dove and that was a very touching story. I have a feeling New Beginnings will be also. Keep up the good work.
