As we all know black porn will always face racism whether it's the female ( ghetto gaggers) or male( gang bang on white women) but to ask for quality in it is a far leap into a extreme fantasy. while i haven't read all of your writings, the few i have are excellent and yes, redeemable in the realm of black erotica ... the whole 'king kong' stereotype of the black man and the white woman is really offensive anymore ... how can we ever as a civilization hope to advance with this type of crap being fed freely to our children? it's everywhere online and i fear it's a large contributor to making race relations worse ... i'm not anti-porn or erotica by any means ... but this stuff is aside that, it is racist and really adding to the problem ...

I'm not the greatest writer around, far from it, but I have set myself the task of transforming the image of my homeland, Jamaica, here on Literotica. I have tried to do this by depicting multi-dimensional Jamaicans characters of varied ethnic backgrounds and in all walks of life, doing a myriad of interesting things in my stories. I have tried to show the many realities that my people live. I have not sugar-coated the unpleasant truths, or ignored the stereotypes, but I have sought to show other images as well. Beyond this, I have spoken with a few of the other writers here, and asked them to take a more sensitive view whenever they try to depict Jamaicans in their stories.
I applaud your courage in challenging the establishment about the issue of how people of colour are depicted in the popular media. I have noticed that you have slowed down the rate of your production, and I have taken note of the comments on some of your stories. My sister, I would urge you not to lose heart. You are not alone in being concerned about the image of people of colour in popular entertainment.
Revive your strength and courage. Know that we may not be digging in the same garden, but ultimately, the bountiful harvest of respect for the humanity of all people of colour will belong to all of us.

While I do agree with you...
I think, with regards to your feelings on race play, it's just different strokes for different folks. As a black woman, I personally am open to it, but I would not ever do it in the way it is presented to me in porn. Black porn fails to present the whole erotic aspect to that particular sub-fetish within BDSM, and like much porn, black or otherwise, it seems degrading. I would never let anyone call me a "nigger" in the bedroom without thoroughly getting to know them first. That element of trust and taboo is what makes it erotic, but you'd rarely see that in porn, ironically. BUT I do understand why you view it as degrading.

I'm guessing you're not a fan of the whole D/S thing. I don't blame you. Racial slurs are not something to be taken lightly, and I see why you view it as both offensive and humiliating. And submission is a hard concept to grasp (Although I'd be lying if I said I was a full sub - trust me. I've tried. I'm too much of a fighter.) I've met my share of men who simply want my attention just because I have this kink. They're usually scared off by my long list of boundaries that come along with it. But I'm just going to assume that nothing I say will ever change your mind. I'm young, so I have the advantage of only encountering the word a few times (mostly when visiting cousins in the deep south, internet commenters, and a very racist kindergarten teacher), making it not affect me as much. I'll just leave it at that, hopefully not pissing you off in the process, because that is not my intention.
