I was expecting his wife to be one of the 4. She has to know whats going on...younger sister, husband. the sisters get along....hopefully she will be introduced later??
On weight training. He was loosing body fat - BMI - and increasing in size, so the weight goal was not really reasonable measure of loss. He needs to get his body fat measure properly. In fact, he could injure himself seriously by over dieting while weight training and excercising. I know it ruins the plot value of your "incentives" idea, but in fact the incentives need to be tied to a reasonable program of loss and gain.

- I'm glad you read the story and took the time to comment. It's appreciated. You've hit on his problem exactly. When the rules were made, the change in body mass wasn't accounted for. His effort to lose the weight becomes more difficult, and he ends up having to do less mass building, more strength and conditioning, and a whole lot more cardio to cut down the fat.

- there are at least 8 more chapters left, and none are as short as this one. I'll try to complete the final edit on each one and roll them out every 4-5 days.
