I didn't rate the story a 5 b/c he seemed a little too wimpy. I still enjoyed winterfrog's usual writing, but the protagonist just didn't man up enough. I mean she is a very replaceable woman who screwed up big time. He on the other hand has but one child to support so is a pretty good target for women looking. I kind live by the rule if you dont have anything good or nice to say shut up. But now I am beginning to think that maybe some of the critics of Winterfrog's stories are right. They are getting worse and worse.

Not very interesting

Normally I love Winterfrog's stories but this one did not hit the spot. Nothing special in any of the relationships. No suprises from the title on. You need a bit more sleight of hand. This conference bit has appeared in hundreds of stories and even in two or three of Winterfrog's.

Why don't you try getting out of this Just Plain Bob mode, and develop more complex, varied characters, and stories? I read the first few lines, of the first paragraph, and then I read the last paragraph, and I get the whole story. And it's still bad, cheap, with equally bad and cheap characters and plot...

I realize that you have English as your second language but please have your future stories edited. This story was interesting and immediately got my attention because of the actions of the wife and his discovery that his baby daughter was, actually, not his baby daughter. But I cannot in my mind understand the behavior of the wife because School teachers are usually on the conservative side, but here we have one that, who at least at teachers conferences, is as wild as they get. The story is good, but I think you needed to develope the wife's relationship with the husband before the husbands world caves in. By showing the relationship before he finds out about her adultress actions would do more to give the story impact. Thanks for your writings, you are one of my favorite writers.

But, this story didn't quite do it for me. I agree with someone else who said that your protagonist was a bit of a wimp. I too agree that he was kind of lacking in the balls department. Keep writing about real men who don't tolerate cheating whores for wives.
