The previous chapters were okay but this one was very good. Doug sounds like one messed up person ad does Bev, actually they all could do with some therapy but I hope thigns work out for Candi and Brett. Well done writer.
I want to know what your devious mind has in store for Bev and Doug. Did Doug try and get to Candi? Did he do something to the house where he and Candi use to live. Did Brett get his pound of flesh from Bev. A lot of questions still to be answered. I don't think one chapter will be enough to answer all of them.Thanks.......Rich

well, the way
you painted this so far, it clearly screams for some recompense and Doug is clearly the one to pay the price. He needs to be strapped of his pride, wealth, emotional and bodily welfare. He deceitet his best friend, his wife and mabe even the wife of Brett - we just don't know this now. Also there is no insight how Beth came into this ploy, may be you can clearify that. Anyway, the fucker beat his wife, he shouldn't get away with it - make him suffer dearly. A little more background why Candi wound up with him instead of Brett would be helpful - and why she put up with Dougs behaviour. Oh and by the the way, make Brett realise he can't tell Candi he won't never hurt her - he already did that on the racquetball court. - - SO, a lot on your plate for the next chapter(s) - I'm looking forward what you come up with!
