Thousands of stories on the site like this already. Makes me wonder though, wouldn't she have recognized his voice? You didn't indicate he was whispering. And if she and Eric were as in tune as you led the readers to believe, then she should've known it was him. A good story nevertheless. Good luck in the contest.
