So where's the ending?

A story that long and stopping it on a "I'm not sure of the outcome" note it NOT an ending. If you're gonna repost these things, at least make a fucking reason for doing so like finishing the fucking story.

I think it´s his way to make a revenge against his bad luck(3 failed marriages, right?) in your own life(something like the best ending is still to come).

somewhere else? Hell the time in the restaurant I would have told her I knew about her and her brush cut mustache guy and laffed in her face. On the other end of the coin you write a lot of stories. To many stories to make typos, spelling errors, and grammar errors. Take the line. "I made it clear to him that all we were ever going to be was friends." This one of a few I caught in the story and some of them were bad enough to yank me off the train of throught. Spell check doesnt work when you spell the wrong word right. Get a proofreader or good editor.

Better than your last posting . . .

This one was not bad, fairly well-written, but it suffers from the already-mentioned (by other readers) weak and uncertain ending that leaves us hanging. It also seems that Rob is controlled by his cock. I can't fathom why he would have gotten back with Trina after several other lies on her part? She cheated on their relationship repeatedly with her old "flame" yet she and Rob had an understanding of exclusivity. It's like putting on an engagement ring -- living with someone, sharing expenses, sleeping together every night . . . after a number of years it would be a common-law marriage, and as far as I'm concerned, saying you love someone, saying you want to be with them all the time, and living the part means exclusivity unless discussed ahead of time to be otherwise. Trina wanted the stability and security of Rob and the love of her old boyfriend from school -- I think that's called having your cake and eating it too -- and this is like the cliche of "it's just sex, honey, get over it" we hear from a cheater. Or, looked at another way, we are bending the definition a bit when this story is put in the LW category -- Trina is not a wife, though she obviously would like to be. At least Rob stood up for himself and called a spade a spade at the end. Thanks for writing.

Where's the ending?

Fairly well written as usual JPB, but like your last posting an ending to the story seems to be lacking. Without one giving closure to the story, you really can't rate the story any higher than I have.

Hey, this was a good story...

Here's the deal -- to write a good story you need a plot. This one had a reasonable plot: an unfaithful girlfriend. The pacing of the story was good as well. There was the requisite roller coaster ride of ups (he is happy with her) and downs (he doesn't want anything to do with her).

To second guess the author and say that what the protagonist did was illogical is subjectively petty. He fell in lust and maybe in love. He fell out of love, only to allow "little head" trump his "big head." And, finally, he did it a third and final time.

He may have some open questions, but that what just rhetorical musing by the protagonist for the benefit of the reader. In his heart of hearts he already knows the answers.

Good story, Bob. I spent a year in Michigan in and around the same area. It is fun to read the names of cities and certain streets that I had driven.

Fine Story

He was lucky though. If he had married her he would have
had to divorce her sooner or later. I can understand how he could be enthralled by her and her gorgeous and really sexy manners, but he knew enough to not consider marrying her.
He really should have used a condom with her, and if she complained,---- just tell her, "he was not taking any more risks". That, of course, should provided a closed ending.
What is the difference between his relationship with Amy and his relationship with Trish? The second one was a lot more fun! If it was stupid, at least he had a lot of tail...

I have to hope that over time, I learn something. How to change brakes. How to teach my son to throw a football properly. How to give my daughters advice on dealing with boys and men.

So why is it so different for someone to learn how not to be a cheater. ("Gee...I DON'T have to lie and I DON'T have to find and fuck someone else") One would think that learning how to be specifically inactive like that would be EASIER to learn.

So...while I do look askance at the main character, I can't really blame him. Trina...then six months...then Trina...and then a couple years and Trina again.

Good romantic revenge situation

Unfortunately in Hungary the husband must pay after all children which were born in the marriage after divorce. However according to the USA federal family law the exhusband does not have to pay any children suppoort money if the bastards (Not DNA test proof children) are below 4 years old after divorce. THIS IS THE BIGGEST ROMANTIC REVENGE STORY SITUATION, WHEN THE EXWIFE SHOULD BRING UP CHILDREN ALONE AND THE EXHUSBAND BRINGS UP HIS DNA TEST PROOF CHILDREN IN THE SECOND MARRIAGE AND THEY LIVES IN SAME MIDDLE TOWN..............What a pity the revenge story Authors use this seldom!

Trina and Rob seem congenitally stupid. Trina is unable to choose between Rob and an ex- boyfriend whom her own mother calls "no account". Rob has caught Trina with the ex-bf twice when supposedly in a relationship with Trina and swallows her guff each time. Fool me once shame on you etc etc.

I think Sweetie's explanation of being with Martin is plausible. (Almost certainly not true, but we readers have more information than Fiancé did at that time!). In other words, the second time was just a continuation of the first time, because Fiancé kicked he out of her/his place. Why she would still be living with her (ex)friend after six months is tough to totally swallow, but her story was good (especially if Trina were better in the sack than Amy!)

Don't quite understand how she could be regularly screwing ( 'no-count loser) Martin if he was now living a hundred or more miles away! He doesn't sound like he has the resources to drive to her 3-4 days a week, and she doesn't have the time and still be cleaning Fiancé's clock a lot!

At least the dummy called mom to invite her to a wedding and got the wake-up call he constantly hated to think about.

the scary thing about the story is there are people like him in the story that does it over and over again. they keep saying "oh he will change" or oh she's serious this time. It's sad really. it best to let go even if it is the person u love because u will be pull down and drown in a hell and never get out.
