How about a follow up...
... Showing how her little plan to go back in a few days backfires on her. Have him go to a lawyer the next morning and draw up papers and have her served at work. If she wanted to teach him a lesson, walk out on her own for a few days until he gets it through his head she wants nothing to do with sleeping with another guy. Don't do it then tell him he's been replaced and walk out on him.

Why did I like it? It was well written. The story unfolded very logically and peaked exactly where it should have. The ending was good, as well because it can leave a variety of options for the reader to imagine beyond her last statement. John.

He was just plain stupid for insisting she'd do it. For me it was OK until the end where she tell's him he was replaced and left with the other guy. That wasn't part of the fantasy-deal. If you just started reading Lit in the last year, you will grow to like, enjoy and sometimes get pissed at JPB - he is good.
As far as Julie being a Slut...maybe now but re-read the story, she was and had been perfectly content with just her husband.
We are all different in our evaluation of people and things and would, as I wrote, classify her as being NOW in the beginning stages of being a 'Hotwife! Yep - that does cover more than a fair number of Bob's story endings. It is the one thing that keeps him from being an excellent author - his penchant for endings that aren't endings. He "leaves the ending to the readers imagination" to paraphrase Bob. And it's irritating. Or at least I find it irritating. As to Julie - she's still a slut. She's granted her husbands bizarre fantasy and had sex with another man in front of her husband. But in the end, she's left him to be with that "other" man. Whether it's for a few hours, a few days or a few months, she crossed the line into slutdom and started living out her fantasies without talking about it with her husband. She's out. Bob has written the ending a number of times. A locksmith will be paid overtime to come right out and change the locks to the house. Credit cards will be cancelled.
